Genesis 1:20-23 God creates lots of creatures to swim in water (both large & small), and birds that fly through the sky. Each was created to produce after its own species. God saw it to be good. This was the 5th day --- evening and morning.

20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning —the fifth day.

Howdy nipper. A quick question: what did tigers eat before the fall?

Somewhere between the fifth day and the six day, when God wraps it up with his closing act, the creation of man, you've got to include dinosaurs. Where are all the lizards?

I believe all animals and man were vegetarian at least until the fall. And it seems that man was not given permission to eat meat until after the Flood.

It would seem that at least some of the various water creatures may have been dinosaur types...

Where do you get that they could not eat meat until after the flood?

Nipper,
How does a tiger that is designed with camouflage, claws, fangs, binocular vision, and has a digestive track that makes it a obligate carnivore eg it can not survive on a vegetarian diet survive as a vegetarian?

Does no death before the fall extend to plants? Micro organisms?

Are you a sock puppet for hoops?

God made the fruit to be food. We have not gotten to the portion of scripture yet ---- you are certainly allowed to read ahead. And you forget ---- after the FALL, death entered into the universe. Everything changed. I do believe things are presently different then when God 1st created them, but that doesn't mean that I accept one species splitting into others or that fungus is an ancester of mine. I do accept that God's perfection has been corrupted for now.

Genesis 1:24-31 God makes land creatures (both domestic and wild). Then God made man in His image of HIs Godhead (triune in form = body, soul, spirit). God placed man in charge of all other living things. God created both male and female. God gave man and animals all the fruit, seeds, nuts for food. And all the green plants were given to the creatures to eat also. God saw this to be good and this was the 6th day of creation --- evening and morning.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. ”

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food. ” And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning —the sixth day.

So, if god created all the beasties, and it was good... Did he rebuild them after the fall? Such that vegetarians were now
carnivorous? Did tigers finally get their stripes?

And you didn't answer my questions. What if anything died before the fall? Plants that were eaten?

And

Are you hoops?
