If you have not figured it out maybe you never will.
Words of comfort.

- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco - To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
It is not up to me to explain these things. The road map is in scripture for anyone who seeks that path. If some refuse to go there but instead hound those who do just what am I to say? I can see people argue over the existence or nonexistence of a spiritual path. But for those who say they seek yet can not experience a spiritual path I see there are three possibilities. The first one is where someone does not believe and has no sincere desire to take a spiritual path. This person may understand the mechanics of the process but chooses not to take those steps that would lead them to spirituality. Or at least an wakening of the spirit. The second possibility is someone who is so entangled with the world that they can't break that bond. They may think they desire a spiritual walk but they won't let go of the world. This is where most people are who say they wish to experience a spiritual life but have never actually been there. Some of these people pretend to have many experiences and treat the whole thing as a game. They know not what they are missing. The third possibility is ones ability to interpret scripture. If someone does not discern what the message is then that person will not know the mechanics of the path. I do not know why it is that some who seem sincere are blinded to understanding. This is a mystery to me and I trust that God has His reasons. Since I can not know a persons heart I do not wish to accuse a person of evil intentions. I am not sure I have given you an explanation that makes sense to you. But it is what it is.

I am that person.

If you have figured it out maybe you will share it in answer to my question above...?

Hi,
Since you all seem to be beating around the bush I decided to provide an answer from my faith system. The following is from the Edgar Cayce reading 262-23
12. (Q) [341]: How should we explain to others how to interpret their experiences as signs of development towards a true realization of fellowship? (A) This has been given in how ones may answer their experiences, have an answer to their experiences, in the way of TRAINING the child (for we all are children) in its development. Or, as this: When an experience of self is in question, then ask self in the mental being so that the answer may be yes or no, and with sincerity. Then, whether the answer is yes or no, as to any question with spiritual forces, then ACCEPT that. Then in meditation and prayer ASK the Spirit whether THAT answer RECEIVED in the mental is yes or no, and KNOW the Spirit answers! Doubt not! For he that
looks back, or doubts, is worse than the infidel. Remember Lot's wife!

Lot's wife looked back, not to see what would happen, but she longed for Sodom. I have read the Book of Mormon. I was saved with the understanding that God holds onto what is His, and is true to His Word. That understanding comes from the Bible. Thoughts that there are secrets, lost texts, and rituals that will make people like God are nothing new. All your old heathen religions and the classic ones (Egyptian, Greek, Roman) are all founded on and full of such notions.
