Genesis 6 Here we see that the population of man is spreading. And it appears that Godly men are being enticed by beautiful worldly ungodly women.
And each generation is pulling further from God and becoming more worldly. Apparently, God is allowing man 120 more years to live as
he wishes. We also see that demon possessed are corrupting humanity even more. And God has to do something or allow something to happen.
All of creation is becoming infected. And God is not happy concerning the inevitable...
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 And it cometh to pass that mankind have begun to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters have been born to them,

2 and sons of God see the daughters of men that they [are] fair, and they take to themselves women of all whom they have chosen.

3 And Jehovah saith, `My Spirit doth not strive in man -- to the age; in their erring they [are] flesh:' and his days have been an hundred and twenty years.

4 The fallen ones were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when sons of God come in unto daughters of men, and they have borne to them -- they [are] the heroes, who, from of old, [are] the men of name.

5 And Jehovah seeth that abundant [is] the wickedness of man in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart only evil all the day;

6 and Jehovah repenteth that He hath made man in the earth, and He grieveth Himself -- unto His heart.

7 And Jehovah saith, `I wipe away man whom I have prepared from off the face of the ground, from man unto beast, unto creeping thing, and unto fowl of the heavens, for I have repented that I have made them.'

Oh, you need to stay. LittleNipper is very entertaining. Don't get so worked up about it. It is kind of funny he takes certain things literally, but other things he won't take literally (like polygamy). I would think IF he were a Bible literalist, he'd accept everything taught as being literally true.

Sounds like you are upset. You may wish to consider praying about it.

Genesis 6:8-22 We now see that Noah has found favor with God. Noah is righteous among his peers depending on God continually. Noah had three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth. The earth is seen to be filled with unrelenting corrupt domination. God is going to destroy life on dry earth because any improvement is impossible otherwise. God tells Noah to build a chest, 3 stories with a vent along the top and an entrance in its side. Noah is to build this chest or ark of gopher wood (possibly a high resin wood or a presently extinct species) covered with tar and to be proportioned like a barge --- three hundred cubits length, fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height. God establishes a covenant with Noah and his wife, and Noah's three sons and their wives. God says to keep together 2 of each kind (male &female) and Noah is to gather food for both the animals and himself. And Noah did everything God told him to do.

8 And Noah found grace in the eyes of Jehovah.

9 These [are] births of Noah: Noah [is] a righteous man; perfect he hath been among his generations; with God hath Noah walked habitually.

10 And Noah begetteth three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 And the earth is corrupt before God, and the earth is filled [with] violence.

12 And God seeth the earth, and lo, it hath been corrupted, for all flesh hath corrupted its way on the earth.

13 And God said to Noah, `An end of all flesh hath come before Me, for the earth hath been full of violence from their presence; and lo, I am destroying them with the earth.

14 `Make for thyself an ark of gopher-wood; rooms dost thou make with the ark, and thou hast covered it within and without with pitch;

15 and this [is] that which thou dost with it: three hundred cubits [is] the length of the ark, fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height;

16 a window dost thou make for the ark, and unto a cubit thou dost restrain it from above; and the opening of the ark thou dost put in its side, -- lower, second, and third [stories] dost thou make it.

17 `And I, lo, I am bringing in the deluge of waters on the earth to destroy all flesh, in which [is] a living spirit, from under the heavens; all that [is] in the earth doth expire.

18 `And I have established My covenant with thee, and thou hast come in unto the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy son's wives with thee;

19 and of all that liveth, of all flesh, two of every [sort] thou dost bring in unto the ark, to keep alive with thee; male and female are they.

20 Of the fowl after its kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every [sort] they come in unto thee, to keep alive.

21 `And thou, take to thyself of all food that is eaten; and thou hast gathered unto thyself, and it hath been to thee and to them for food.'

22 And Noah doth according to all that God hath commanded him; so hath he done.

Genesis 7:1-24 And the Lord told Noah and his family to come into the ark, being righteous before God. Clean animals were to come in pairs of seven of male & female only. The unclean (including creeping things & fowl) arrived as a single pair of male and female only. Living spirit animals only. This happened to keep their kind alive on the earth because God promised that after 1 week, a rain would begin to fall and continue for 40 days. Noah would be 600 years old when this event occurred. And Noah and his family went into the ark from the presence of the water of the coming flood that would wipe every living thing from the dry ground. And everything that came into the ark, came as God commanded that living thing. God closed the door. The fountains of the deep broke apart and the network of heaven opened on the Biblical calander date of the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month. after 40 days the rain stopped and the flood reached its peak by 150 days. All high hills and any mountains that then existed were covered by at least 15 cubits of water at some point during this Flood. Every human and animal that lived on dry land perished --- all except those aboard the ark.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 And Jehovah saith to Noah, `Come in, thou and all thy house, unto the ark, for thee I have seen righteous before Me in this generation;

2 of all the clean beasts thou dost take to thee seven pairs, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean two, a male and its female;

3 also, of fowl of the heavens seven pairs, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;

4 for after other seven days I am sending rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.'

5 And Noah doth according to all that Jehovah hath commanded him:

6 and Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the deluge of waters hath been upon the earth.

7 And Noah goeth in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, unto the ark, from the presence of the waters of the deluge;

8 of the clean beasts and of the beasts that [are] not clean, and of the fowl, and of every thing that is creeping upon the ground,

9 two by two they have come in unto Noah, unto the ark, a male and a female, as God hath commanded Noah.

10 And it cometh to pass, after the seventh of the days, that waters of the deluge have been on the earth.

11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, in this day have been broken up all fountains of the great deep, and the net-work of the heavens hath been opened,

12 and the shower is on the earth forty days and forty nights.

13 In this self-same day went in Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them, unto the ark;

14 they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every fowl after its kind, every bird -- every wing.

15 And they come in unto Noah, unto the ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;

16 and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God hath commanded him, and Jehovah doth close [it] for him.

17 And the deluge is forty days on the earth, and the waters multiply, and lift up the ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;

18 and the waters are mighty, and multiply exceedingly upon the earth; and the ark goeth on the face of the waters.

19 And the waters have been very very mighty on the earth, and covered are all the high hill which [are] under the whole heavens;

20 fifteen cubits upwards have the waters become mighty, and the mountains are covered;

21 and expire doth all flesh that is moving on the earth, among fowl, and among cattle, and among beasts, and among all the teeming things which are teeming on the earth, and all mankind;

22 all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit -- of all that [is] in the dry land -- have died.

23 And wiped away is all the substance that is on the face of the ground, from man unto beast, unto creeping thing, and unto fowl of the heavens; yea, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the ark;

24 and the waters are mighty on the earth a hundred and fifty days

and there were beasts of capodecina who hath known Noah's soft spots as he was not a prohibionist - as the Genesis 9 will describe him in the near future, according to LittleNipper's project's timeline - he [will be] drank of the wine, and was [] drunken; and he was [] uncovered within his tent

Nipper, I need no lesson in Hebrew when it comes to the word Elohim! The site you gave must have been related to the Papa Joe's Evangelical site. There are very few who can twist the truth like the Evangelicals! They change "if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments" to just walking down the isle and making a verbal profession of faith despite James clear statement, "can faith save him" (context Albion!).

If you look it up in a real Hebrew dictionary it will tell you that Elohim is the plural of God! When the Biblical prophets saw God, they saw Christ at His right hand, just as Joseph Smith saw Him! The "one God" is a figurative statement meaning Godhead, which the Bible also states! "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine." Is it sound or logical doctrine to pray to yourself?!? Is it logical to land on yourself at your own baptism and throw your voice from heaven stating that you are well pleased with yourself?!? Is it sound doctrine that part of your one would know when the one would return, but the other part would not?!?
