That is not a historical fact! You are absolutely wrong about that! I looked that up before I wrote that post! Yes, most of the Bible is meant to be taken literally. Do you think that God intended to confuse mankind, how ignorant. Writing on kingdoms that one is holding in his hands before other peoples eyes?!? What will it take for you to wake up and open your eyes?!?

For what it's worth, the Bible was never meant to be taken literally. There is no reason to believe that the Bible was the word of God. There is no evidence that the Bible is in any way related to God.

It's just a collections of stories that was put together many years after each chapter was written.

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Last thought on this, gdemetz. It is not kingdoms that are being held in the hand it is sticks of wood with the name of the kingdom written on it that are held in the hand, representing the kingdoms that will be brought together as one. Nothing about book or scrolls for which the ancients had perfectly good words...simple, symbolic sticks of wood with the name of a kingdom written on each. Read the chapter in context and its quite clear and nothing you can say will alter that no matter how hard you want it to be something else.

First of all, you are wrong about sticks. The Hebrew word is wood. People usually don't write on sticks. Secondly, the tablets, or books are held by a person in front of another persons eyes, and that should be an obvious clue that it is a combined book just as the ones the LDS missionaries show before blind evangelical eyes.

I hope that you will open your eyes one day and realize that there was a restitution of ALL things, which is not a dream, and that Elijah has returned as promised (not to the Evangelicals), and that is not a dream. YOU are the one that is sleeping, Albion. Are you still waiting for Elijah to come? Are you still waiting for that man anti Christ who will head that European union?

When you say 'most of the Bible is meant to be taken literally.' Which bits aren't meant to be taken literally?

Elijah did indeed return which is made clear by Jesus in the New Testament.

Malachi was referring to a time just prior to the second coming, Albion!
