Um...if "it" refers to doctrines and beliefs that are proven to be false or wrong based on solid facts and evidence then that would be accurate.

Someone once asked me if I was somehow offended by someone in Church. I replied, "Yes. Joseph Smith."

More like ex-members who now want to hack on it, but there are also atheists and crusading faithists who feel like kicking sand in the face of Mormonism.

It is important--very important--for Sunday School and other classes to differentiate between "anti-Mormons" and "ex-Mormons." The temple recommend questions specifically ask if you have any ties to anti-Mormon groups. If you do, then you may lose your recommend.

So... in short, anti-Mormons are not "Mormons who couldn't hack it." Anti-Mormons are people who actively work to destroy the LDS church. Most ex-Mormons do NOT fall into that category at all!

There is definitely a huge difference between "anti-Mormon" and "ex-Mormon."

No, I think it's a difference of intention. Anti-Mormons wants to save the Mormons and/or destroy the LDS Church, whereas ex-Mormons are a diverse group of people with a variety of beliefs.

Yes, I sat and said nothing.
What would have been gained by asking:
1. Excuse me, how do you know, do you associate with anti-Mormons? Do you trawl the Internet looking at Anti-Mormon stuff?
2. What is it that you would class as the fringes of Mormonism? Are there parts of Church history and doctrine that you would class as not mainstream and things we should stay away from?

I think we are on the same lesson plan, but the teacher has a theme that runs inside each lesson. Maybe that's an instruction or maybe that's a personal view, I don't know. But it is a counsel to the members in that class to not go looking, to not go researching, outside of the core things taught in the lesson.

He tells only half truth.

We all know that anti-mormons can be all kinds, and when and if it's ever mentioned in Sunday school, most of those aspects are also mentioned.

Can you show me the 'half truth' that I told?

If you are referring to the description of an anti Mormon, that is not my description, it is the description given by the teacher.

When we're you appointed spokesperson for the content of all Sunday School lessons worldwide?
