In other words, Jo, Albion prefers to stay with the warped twisted evangelical version of the Bible as opposed to what the Bible actually states and teaches! He, like most evangelicals do not want to be bound down by having to keep the commandments as Christ stated, and those "itching ears" want to hear that they can be saved anyway just by making a verbal profession of faith! Hallelujah!

Again gdemetz demonstrates that he doesn't really read my posts and continues to mischaracterize Christian belief.

Re: Did we have a pre-premortal existence?
You know full well that Christians believe in keeping the commandments...I have stated it over and over. I will not repeat myself after this...are you ready, I'll type it slowly in case you don't read very fast: Keeping commandments, works, etc are an essential part of the Christian life. They do not in and of themselves save anyone, however, they are the fruits of salvation which has taken place in the repentant sinner which comes as a free gift from God. The Christian does not do good works in order to be saved...he does good works because he is saved. Good works are not the equal, nor are they superior to the broken body of Jesus offered as atonement for your sin at Calvary. We are justified (what does that word mean to you...it means to me, simply put, just as if we have not sinned) "freely by his grace through the redemption that CAME by Christ Jesus." If God justified us freely by his grace, as he clearly did, it means we are righteousness before him already because of it and no amount of works will make us any more justified or righteous.

Yes Albion! However, they also believe that one can be saved by merely making a profession of faith without keeping the commandments!!! You and Mittens are not being honest here!!! How many different Baptist churches have I attended over the years! You can't bull shoot me about that!

My land, gdemetz. What did I just say? Are you deliberately being argumentative. If a person claims salvation but continues to live a life outside God's will for his life you have a legitimate reason to suspect his claim is false. You are the second person today who has called me a liar...more of the personal stuff Mormons seem so good at.

No apology yet, I see. The other individual didn't have the grace to offer an apology
either.

Hello Albion?!? They are all false! It is ridiculous to suppose that a mere profession of faith can save someone! Does the Bible teach that? No! Does Christ teach that? No! He teaches that every creature should be baptized, and that if one would enter into life they must keep the commandments!!! You evangelicals have substituted your own false doctrine for the teachings of Christ and the Bible!!!

Gdemetz, do you believe secret handshakes will be required to gain exaltation?
