singular or PLURAL noun for 'god

Yes SINGULAR or plural, depending on the grammar. It's like the word "eyeglasses". It can be singular or plural: "Gdemetz probably needs eyeglasses, because he has trouble comprehending, and it might be because his vision is blurry." Then when he goes to the eyeglasses store, he might be asked, "Which of these eyeglasses to you want to buy so that you can better comprehend what you are reading?" Same word but two different meanings because it can be both plural or singular depending on the sentence structure. In Hebrew, when referring to the Hebrew God, Elohim is always SINGULAR, just like when you are referring to one pair of eyeglasses, it is always singular.

And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods (אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם), but put no fire under. ~1 Kings 18:25 (plural possessive elohim, your gods) And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked  them, and said, Cry aloud: for he (ה֔וּא) is a god (אֱלֹהִ֣ים); either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. ~1 Kings 18:25-28 (singular possessive elohim, he god)

Elijah was no fool. And there you have two lessons with one quotation.
Riding on a speeding train; trapped inside a revolving door;
Lost in the riddle of a quatrain; Stuck in an elevator between floors.
One focal point in a random world can change your direction:
One step where events converge may alter your perception.

Lesson to gdemetz?

He learned everything up to his 6th birthday, and is continuously forgetting since then.
We see the leftover.

by the way quotation? It is YOUR quotation. He has none.

Moreover, we should report 2/3 of his comments, because they don't fit to celestial.

I did not state that! I stated that Elohim was plural for God, which it is, and it is definitely NOT always singular! How dumb! How many quotes do I need to give here?!?

You haven't provided a single link. I have provided many. Elohim, when referring to the God of Israel is always the singular form in the Tanach. You haven't provided a single source that refutes that.

Kittens, you are so hard headed! You probably argue with yourself! Even the Catholic Encyclopedia states: "Elohim is the common name for God. IT IS A PLURAL FORM, but the usage of the language gives no support to the supposition that we have in the plural form Elohim, applied to the God of Israel..."

Even though they admit that Elohim IS PLURAL, The reason the are confused about this is that believe in the stupid "trinity" doctrine, and that don't understand that Christ ALONE is the God of Israel!!!

I don't believe in the God of Abraham. I have no dog in this fight.

I make my argument from the perspective of a person with a passion for language and a knowledge of the LDS theology.

Did you read what you quoted? I think not. You didn't cite it properly and you don't seem to understand it.

Did you read a single link that I referred you to? Obviously not.

Elohim is used in a singular form when referring to the God of Abraham in the Tanach and used in a plural fashion when referring to the gods of the pagans. I'm getting sick of explaining that to you.

Try and provide one source that references the original Hebrew that proves otherwise.

I'm not going to hold my breath, because I know there isn't one or else you would have provided it already.

[non-Celestial language deleted]! You don't know LDS theology or languages! You [non-Celestial language deleted]! How many quotes will it take stating that it is a PLURAL form before you wake up?!?

You haven't provided a single link, I have provided many.

Where are your sources?

Cite?

Call for reference?

Well?
