Me? I believe in the empty cup, and human kindness. A little kindness goes a long way.

I believe in the primacy of addition. I am leery of subtraction and division gives me the willies, but as a computer guy I understand they can all be perfomed as addition, except for division by 0. Bad things happen when you divide by 0.

I don't believe in Noah's flood. Exu tells me it never happened and that he planted the story to teach humanity how to learn. That is how Exu rolls.

Exu was walking down a road one day, wearing a hat that was red on one side and black on the other. Sometime after he entered a village which the road went through, the villagers who had seen him began arguing about whether the stranger's hat was black or red. The villagers on one side of the road had only been capable of seeing the black side, and the villagers on the otherside had only been capable of seeing the red one. They soon came to blows over the disagreement which caused him to turn back and rebuke them, revealing to them how one's perspective can be as correct as another person's even when they appear to be diametrically opposed to each other. He then left them witha stern warning about how closed-mindedness can cause one to be made a fool.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

People are always saying that the Bible has problems. When viewed in some light it may appear that way. But in science where I am told absolute truth exist I find more holes than those declared in the Bible. It may be that man has a hard time finding any absolute truth no matter where he looks. Now the real question should be is the Bible inspired? If indeed it is outside of man then it should not suffer the same weaknesses of man.

I wonder in all the years I missed where science claimed absolute truth. I remember it many times growing up in the LDS church. Sometimes I wonder what universe some people live in.

perhaps it is just a confusion with your own "absolute" claims?

This one is my favorite from you..especially with regards to the "absolute" notion that a flood NEVER happened

And yet sub has still failed to produce any support for a global flood in the last 5k years.

I really have to wonder about a person who keeps providing quotes of things that show he is wrong and the other guy is right. Thanks for quoting me so others can see I have not made any absolute truth claims. I wonder if you are going to even try to provide where the scientific community has said the Earth has never been covered by water, which is not to say that have said it was covered by water. Remember you quote of Australian scientists never said it was fully covered. Oh wait you didn't even read what I said and thought I was stating the opposite as some absolute. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Try reading what I say for once.
