Many people standing there saw the destruction of the Temple in Jersalem 70AD

which people saw that?

Mittens wrote:Matt 26:64 Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Many will see, either from the graves or coming with Jesus

many perhaps...but Jesus is speaking to "him"..perhaps you need to figure who is the subject of that preposition. (hint: that guy(s) is long since gone)

hint: the subject of the preposition "you" in that verse is not actually you Mittens, or someone not yet born

It's obvious you have no decernment with Scripture since nany people seen The Gospel Age come into being, The Church Age.

huh?

Didn't God say a thousand years is a day to God ?

and why are you bringing up "day"...i just re-read that verse....can't find the word "day" anywhere....sooooo......huh?

Here is what the good ol' dictionary has to say about joy:

1. the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation: She felt the joy of seeing her son's success.

2. a source or cause of keen pleasure or delight; something or someone greatly valued or appreciated: Her prose style is a pure joy.

3. the expression or display of glad feeling; festive gaiety.

4. a state of happiness or felicity.

I'm wondering how a corpse can "see" anything from the grave...especially with their eyeballs eaten away by bugs. *shudder*

So exactly how does one know the difference?

Whether it still sounds good with the passage of time.

How does a perceived lack of closure on a brush with the Mormon cult indicate that a person doesn't have joy?

Not exactly, it must not contradict or disagree with the Bible.

Christian joy comes from the security that the Christian feels, knowing that God is in control. The Bible tells us to rejoice in the Lord always. We should be joyful because security provides us with the a peace that passes understanding.
