I am not aware of enough information to determine which one is more "accurate".
So i am afraid i have to defer to you, which version is more accurate?

hmmm...let us appoint "19 And of all the living, of all flesh, you shall bring two to the ark to keep alive with you, they shall be male and female." as the accurate one so that you may proceed.

The Bible is stating things that are totally correct. The animals were paired as a male and its female. This was true of both the clean and unclean animals.
