Tobin, your reliance on Google and your claimed superior intellect not withstanding, I'll match my knowledge of English as it is spoken in the UK against yours any day. As I acknowledged there is some scattered usage of outdated words and phrases in Britain but these are on more of a regional basis than widespread and even they are considered archaic and more of an anomaly than accepted use...even in those pockets their use is dying out fast as those who use the terms are aging. A person speaking in complete King James English in modern Britain would be looked upon as, at best, an eccentric (a characteristic perhaps more cherished in Britain than anywhere) or a complete fool.

People here in Blighty would think someone speaking in KJV style language was a Shakespearean street performer.
In actual fact, the English spoken in Britain today is different from the English spoken fifty years ago. It is constantly evolving.

Drifting, you are right of course. Even in those counties, Yorkshire and Lancashire come to mind, where the use of words like thee and thou are used their usage is in decline as the population ages and because communications have become national rather than regional. Latin is still taught in some schools in the UK but apart from some specific usage Latin is as dead a language for common communication as King James English.

There are large parts of Lancashire and Yorkshire where English isn't the first language anymore.

The reason you so passionately dislike google is it makes it easy to disprove your claims. And your statements about English and your understanding of the 2nd person singular pronoun make it clear about how limited that knowledge is.

Well, Tobin, what is clear is your ability to change the subject. I made no statement about my passion for Google either way only a claim that my knowledge on English usage in Britain is, at the very least equal to, if not superior, than your own...secondly, I made not mention whatsoever of English grammar only a mention on the subject of King James English being an archaic language no long in common use.

Interesting word archaic. It means that the uses of the 2nd person singular pronoun is primitive and inferior to uses today. I challenge the "supposedly" more knowledgable Albion to demonstrate how the use of 'you' is superior to the "supposedly" archaic 2nd person singular prounoun 'thou' in the scriptures.

Canst thou show how the use of 'thou' is more superior to the word 'you' in today's modern society? Because you know, God know's what we are thinking in any language so the verbalising of prayers are either for us or the people around us listening to the prayer.
