How did President Monson look to you?
There was speculation on this board in months past that President Monson would not even be able to show up for General Conference due to suffering from dementia. I just watched him briefly and he looked coherent enough. Did anyone else see anything different?
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

He looked more than fine, looked fantastic for an 85-year old. He's also a big guy and they tend to have it harder aging. Got plenty of gas left in the tank.
Of course Conference is just reading talks from a teleprompter (even when they get emotional and choked up lol). Still does it better than anyone else there.
Certainly nowhere near being incapacited because of mental illness. The communities spreading it around like fact lose credibility when they make such claims.

He looked like he hasn't lived the principles of the word of wisdom for many years...

i have yet to be convinced that you were familiar enough with either of these to effectively "judge" anyone else's adherence to them.

Strangely, I'm not feeling the need to convince you of...well...anything...anything at all...

My wife and I noticed that in all of his speeches, someone dies. We joke around and make bets with each other as to whether this latest speech will be a small tragedy or a mass slaughter. I believe only two people died in this last talk.
