When have I ever poo-pooed great art? I am a more hearty appreciator of great art* than anyone I know.

It may be your definition of great art that's in question.

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Best so far.
With a new word to boot.

Greatness.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Re: MDB Haiku
Here's my somewhat 'romantic' thoughts on my journey(s) within Mormonism and Religion in general.
(I'm revealing my soul a bit here. Please be kind!)
Here she comes, don’t look
Evil apostate, darkness,
She gone now? Relief.
Reconnecting now,
Gentle, thoughtful souls, loving,
Mormons, broad and deep.
What is truth you ask,
Where is it? Within, Without?
Hope Springs eternal.
Inadequate mind,
Stumbles, falls, tries to see but
Only dark mirrors
Truth within truth,
God beyond God, yet hope,
Reality there
Connected we are,
All to one eternal round,
None forgotten, none.
We are together,
In this, ties that bind us, now,
Joined, eternally
Birth and death to us,
Unavoidable, yet still
Linked by silken ties.
When I look up to
The darkness, I see faint light
Travel there one day
We come from stardust
Yet souls yearn for something more
What is it we miss?
Imagination
Gift, greatest given. We are
Consciousness, entwined.
