Speaking of frantic-looking, please explain in what way being asked to support your assertions is a red herring or a smokescreen or [insert metaphor here].

That would be explaining how specifically asking you to support the claim you keep making is distracting from the claim you keep making.

Spent the day preparing for Sandy, when it looks like a much bigger storm was brewing here.

I've "known" Chino Blanco online for several years now. A more random person to finger as Scratch I could not come up with. I'm curious how Pahoran (or his supplier) came up with such a thing. But I'm more shocked that anyone would accept it without apparently thinking about it or looking at any "evidence."

From what I read on the DCP Patheos blog, he accepted the connection without question and without even ever reading anything by Chino Blanco or knowing who he was.

And others followed along with this, too, again apparently with nothing but Pahoran's word for it.

And the continuing fallout .. .... I have no words.

Liz, you've always answered my tickets promptly. I appreciate the years of service and the personal time you've dedicated to us, and I'm sorry to see you stepping down.

If only it were that simple. Liz is not 'stepping down', she's being forced out. Scratch and his minions have been trying to get rid of her for quite a while now.

Scratch, I warned you once that you'd better not lose Liz for Shades on this board. You're responsible for this and for what the board devolves into. The one active LDS moderator, driven away by a bunch of antis. This board loses any semblance of being 'neutral'--which we all know it never was. But now, there's no question where this message board belongs.

Scratch piqued my interest with his reaction too. But, I have to say, what sealed it for me was his initial responses to Dr. Peterson's accusation on his blog. Six year long mystery solved--out of the man's own mouth (or keyboard to be more accurate).

You all go ahead and believe Scratch; I don't care. I'm sure he's pleased to see he's got so many good people who'd never do what he does themselves, yet, are apparently willing to support and encourage him as he goes about tearing down others through his machinations and harassments.

Of course, you know that when you support him, when you defend him and help him hide his activities, you aid and abet him in his 'mission' as he calls it. Or maybe you're one who even ferrets around for stuff he can twist and embellish to smear and embarrass his victims; either way, you allow yourself to become part of the Scratch machine; part of who he is and what he does--that's you guys too. And since you all like him so much, you should enjoy the board now that he won't have any opposition to get in his way--

Anyone who's been on this board for the last couple of years knows Shades abdicated control to him a long time ago--it's just now, it will be out in the open, not hidden. No need to appeal to Shades when there are problems, just go straight to Doctor Scratch; he's in charge now.
