Obviously not. DCP has been carrying on for years about how this evil Scratch character has been defaming him and ruining his reputation, so accusing Jason is the same as accusing him of defamation.
Suppose I said that someone had been harassing my family mercilessly, and I accused you of being that person. Would it matter if in the end, the harassment turned out to be that you commented on my posts negatively? Would that make you guilty?

If anyone has legitimate grounds for a defamation lawsuit it would be Chino Blanco; methinks that's the reason why Mr. Peterson took his posts down so quickly. He really stepped in it.
