These are assertions without evidence. Science needs evidence before it can say God did it, or even that God exists. This is why God is not mentioned, and the reason Xenu, Santa, Bigfoot, or any number of claims without evidence are not mentioned. Science likes to deal with evidence, and it would be nice if you did as well when discussing these issues.
As a Christian, I know that there is God. He answers my prayers. And I can see over the years how He has led my life and protected me. Scientists make assertions all the time based on what they think they know. Try praying to Bigfoot or Santa and see if those prayers are answered. Then try praying to God --- now, there is an experiment for you.

You might not be aware of this, but almost every person on this forum was a believer at one time. Pretty sure they prayed to God.

No where in the Bible does it say that questioning God is blasphemy. It does say that the fool says in his heart there is no God. But that seems more to be the person trying to hide his feeling and not going to God with he concerns...

But I also believe that they were likely Mormon. My guess is that such lump the god of the Book of Mormon and Mormonism with that of the Bible. They are not one in the same. I can fully understand why a person would turn away from Mormonism. I rejected the Book of Mormon as unbiblical.

So let me see if I got this right. if some Mormon is sincerely praying for guidance or whatever, the “real” God will say, “Oh, that person is a Mormon and is praying to the false Mormon god so I will not answer his prayers even though he is pouring out his heart in sincere prayer wanting do to the best thing for his family. And since he was born a Mormon and is now praying to the false Mormon god he [is just out of luck]”
Is that right? Wow the “real” God is kind of [preferential].

The difference is that they constrict themselves to evaluating evidence. No evidence, no evaluating or researching can be done.

Millions of people pray to their Gods and will say the same thing as you, with as much or more conviction then you. I remember you could never say how you know God exists.

God will hear the prayer of repentance and accepting Christ as one's personal Savior by anyone anywhere. A person is born into sin but doesn't have to remain in darkness if he turns to Christ as the ONLY answer.

God exists because Jews exist. And Jesus was the perfect Jew. When has a Moslem thanked God for the Jews? I do pray that God will save Moslems. Do Moslems pray for Jews?
