in rememberance
For the parents of 20 little ones who will have Christmas presents under your trees this year unopened, and unused.....
My heart weeps with you.
My heart weeps with you.

Amen.

Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.

Re: in rememberance
It is a very sad weekend. Watching the news about it just causes one to cry. At this point there is little else we can do. I'm sorry for the entire community. They all had very beautiful children.

Truly a tragedy.
Hopefully those directly involved will be able to draw strength and comfort from their beliefs. The public discussion of God's involvement or lack thereof, during this time of sadness, is one best left alone for now.

So you don't care if it happens again? I firmly believe that if opening exercises and Bible readings were reintroduced into the Public (Community) School System, this sort of thing would end. But you wouldn't want that, it might make one think in terms of eternity instead of just the material.

Based on what evidence? Shootings have happened at churches and religious gatherings...

It's a shame some feel the need to preach their version of God using this tragedy. This lack of understanding leads to people like the Westboro Baptist church.
