Yes it is, and I think a lot of it is true. I have not done an in depth study yet and prayed about it but on the surface it rings true.
Why would Christ come to the earth and not experience a life in the flesh in fullness. Some believe that the wedding in scripture is actually a wedding for Jesus and Mary.

you mean like the Gospel of Thomas? where we read about Jesus as a child...
"IV. 1 After that again he went through the village, and a child ran and dashed against his shoulder. And Jesus was provoked and said unto him: Thou shalt not finish thy course (lit. go all thy way). And immediately he fell down and died. But certain when they saw what was done said: Whence was this young child born, for that every word of his is an accomplished work? And the parents of him that was dead came unto Joseph, and blamed him, saying: Thou that hast such a child canst not dwell with us in the village: or do thou teach him to bless and not to curse: for he slayeth our children.
V. 1 And Joseph called the young child apart and admonished him, saying: Wherefore doest thou such things, that these suffer and hate us and persecute us? But Jesus said: I know that these thy words are not thine: nevertheless for thy sake I will hold my peace: but they shall bear their punishment. And straightway they that accused him were smitten with blindness. 2 And they that saw it were sore afraid and perplexed, and said concerning him that every word which he spake whether it were good or bad, was a deed, and became a marvel. And when they (he ?) saw that Jesus had so done, Joseph arose and took hold upon his ear and wrung it sore. 3 And the young child was wroth and said unto him: It sufficeth thee (or them) to seek and not to find, and verily thou hast done unwisely: knowest thou not that I am thine? vex me not." http://www.gnosis.org/library/inftoma.htm
that being said...Jesus married or not has little bearing on the topic at hand.

Women either don't want to subjugate (choose to be subjugated instead) or lack the ability to subjugate the masses.
Like Sub said ... take your pick.
I think it has to do with what God has done to men and women. The flesh is just different between the two and the mind is different as well. Only when the best of both are combined do we become a whole person. I think this is true in the flesh but may not be true once we leave the realm of the flesh.
If we become a whole when joined man and woman, then the Priesthood is incomplete without women. It all goes back to Genesis.

So...Tom Cruise was correct when he announced "You complete me"...
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

I agree that the priesthood is incomplete without women, just as the church is incomplete without women. As you equate the flesh above i think it is the same in spirit....consider pregnancy...incomplete without the father, but resides with the mother.

Mktavish wrote:Aren't you all forgetting the whole reason behind women asking for church leadership positions and getting ordained with the power of the priesthood? If men get to do it, why can't they? However , I think it creates a bit of a paradox ... how can you believe in the power of the priesthood , without believing in the doctrine that came with it. "All that fuzzy warm talk about how god made man and woman for separate roles" And then the common misconception that , it is mans superior brawn keeping women in the subservient role as second class. When all of human history shows that brains does dominate brawn.
So then your left with the question of why do males (hypothetically) routinely hold a dominant position to a woman?
you make a good point. a point that i am sure, Jutta is not ready to admit.

Fact : Women are most commonly in a position of subservience to a man. The question is .... why? For we cannont begin to fix or change something without first knowing how it got that way.
If the evidence says they are inferior then so be it. I will not bow to political brow beating or be subservient to it. The first lesson in how not to be subservient.
Now that is funny. I think you might be amazed at how women feel about the superiority of men. I do invite the women on this thread to tell you what they feel. It might open your eyes to just how smart and with it they are. They let men think they are in charge. It is really funny.
