Well, looks like we are going to see what all she has. I hope Dwight and other energetic souls will be able to mine this trove for relevant information. No obligation, but what you guys have done so far has been extremely helpful. If Dehlin really is guilty of something, except for being kind of an immoral dope, then perhaps we will see it in this mess.

Understanding Rosebud's mindset helps, I think. It doesn't obviate the sexual harassment, but it does help in understanding the convoluted and overwhelming nature of the issues the Open Stories Foundation board faced in their dealings with this person.

For example, in her public comment to the FTC about her experience with alleged franchise fraud, she closes her 24 page document with this hubris, unbelievably:
Below are 25 innovative ideas that, if applied, would revamp the industry.

I understand, of course, that franchisors will spend money to convince the FTC that none of these ideas are
possible because if the FTC were to implement them, the FTC would “destroy” the industry.

The reality is that if the FTC implemented them, the FTC would make the industry fair and would
end franchisors’ ability to tap the personal assets of their franchisees to expand their businesses.

By implementing measures that really work and that really make competition fair, the FTC will end the tyranny of franchising and empower the small mom-andpop businesses that our country ought to depend on.

By implementing measures that really work and ending the tyranny of franchising, the FTC has the opportunity to revamp the American
dream and empower our best people to make our economy what it ought to be.

Proposed Solutions: ....
It certainly explains her grandiose image of what her place in Open Stories Foundation could have been.

My main concern about her data dump is it will be a giant word doc/pdf that is her story over and over again and not actual evidence.

If she includes texts and so forth it may contain real information from the time, unvarnished, without her spin and drama. But, yeah, you have no reason to expect anything but more of the same.

She certainly is able to put on the airs of extreme confidence in her abilities and significance. Thanks for sharing this information, Lem!

Thanks for sharing that lem. She sure sounds like someone to be a blast to work with, never really able to hold on her own job I’d love to tell the people how to do their’s.

This is weird. She just hung this on her Facebook page:
After putting more thought into how to protect donors from John's retaliations and how to better protect my real name from becoming irreparably attached to him on the Internet (as he would like it to be... again, creepy), I have decided that I need to create an anonymous way for people to donate to my legal fees and offer my children some scholarships in an effort to help compensate them for some of what they have lost due to the extremity of this situation.

So, I will take on the task of creating the GoFundMes. It's not what I wanted to do, but honestly, the little pieces of financial support I've already gotten have been amazing. It's been incredible to see a few dollars trickle in.

SO THANK YOU!

It's been amazing.

I am so excited to throw these documents to the wind......

And I'd forgotten what support feels like after being isolated for so long. THANK YOU!
What retaliations would or could John Dehlin possibly levy against anyone who hands a few bucks over to Rosebud so her son can buy himself a sammich as he wraps up his college career?

Also, I know it’s already been said, but when she kvetches about Dehlin being money hungry that crap is 100% projection. I ain’t never seent someones talk about money so much in my life.

The Mormon blogosphere is littered with the careers destroyed by John Dehlin's rage. The man just puts out a single tweet or makes a single comment in the middle of a 10 hour podcast, and lives are changed forever.

You guys do not want to be on the wrong side of John J. Dehlin.

Thanks Lem. That is in character and unsurprising and good to have concrete details.

When the docs come I will try and lend a hand, but it was a slog at the end of the interview. I’ve appreciated all the additional insights and feedback I’ve gained from participating here.
