2. Again, I assume God is not a complete moron. If God had wished me to do something else and believe some other tradition about him, he could have told me.
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

Seek whose god and speak to this god concerning what? The Mormon god is not a one and a only God and the Mormon message is to seek concerning the validity of the Book of Mormon. It doesn't seem to be one of questioning what the Mormon Prophet says God says.
Are you claiming God is incapable of telling a Mormon the truth? Is your God omnipotent or not?
1. How does a Mormon differentiate between a communication from God and a communication that is self generated or generated by some being other than God? 2. How does a Mormon determine that what they are being told is actually the truth?
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

1. There is no reason to consider that one would confuse any of those forms of communication. No one struggles to differentiate such things. 2. The Spirit

What kind of questions are those? They're called personal religious experiences for a reason. They can't be demonstrated empirically. The only thing you can demonstrate empirically is the superiority of the Mormon way of life.
I may be wrong, but I read his question as not asking how a Mormon can prove to another they are communicating with God, but how a Mormon can know they are in communication with God. His question seems to be asking how one can know spiritual experiences or what people may believe are spiritual communications are from the LDS God or some other being, or are they self generated. I think it is a good question many people don't consider.
I am not sure where that came from, but maybe he is just using it as an example. I think you could empirically try to answer the question, but you would have to define well what a Mormon way of life is, and what would be defined as better or superior.
