In a German forum of former members of the church sometimes I write (I am Medea). A member of the forum has announced few days ago to want to be baptized again.
To this you must know; that she was excommunicated because of transsexualism; and much was set against the church, had fought for years against the church.
Is this woman insane?
Nobody really can so masochistly be; want back to a church which permanently discriminate her? If she were baptized again, she would always be a 2nd class membe. Because she may not get a temple reccommend.
And, shall she be baptized as a woman or man?
What do you think about this?

It's not that she "may not" get a temple recommend. She will not get a temple recommend. (See Handbook.)
I make an end of my writing upon these plates, which writing has been small; and to the reader I bid farewell, hoping that many of my brethren may read my words. Brethren, adieu.

This is the reason, why I can't understand her.

She has got normal again. She had recognized; that she would further be discriminated against in the church; because member rights are withheld from her (temple visit). She thinks about it, to go now to the CoC. But would this be better for her?
