OK , you got me on that one. But ofcourse that makes sense for the time of when christianity was very split up , then constantine decided to make a universal version of christianity.
But it doesn't hold the meaning in todays world now does it.

The meaning of words change by the time.

For example the word telestial had a meaning in te time of JS.
Today, it has no meaning - at least nobody knows it...

- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

So what is the scoop of this?

by the way, as Mormons, would the current Church President preside if they were all in a meeting?

Moksha, I recently found this on youtube.

Jesus is Mormon? CRAZY

If God is a Mormon (or at least a member of a group supporting the beliefs known today as Latter Day Saints) then how come His religion is insignificant relative to lots and lots and lots of other belief systems?
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

This is all relative. Very small compared to the Transixtianism of Star Sector k-911 or the 4.3 trillion served by McDonalds, but what the LDS Church it lacks in size it makes up for in chutzpah.

If God is anything, He'd be JEWISH. However, God is a Creator and without beginning or an end.

I found this video to be excellent. My hope is that Mormons might consider viewing it all the way through. It even has a very interesting "Christian " view with regard to the THEN upcoming election... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jbJK-FFfkQ

1. Germans pronounce "Z" as English speakers something in tsar, tsunami. Foreign words. This sound doesn't exist in English.
2. The founder of zionist movement was Theodor Herzl of Hungarian origin.
Theodor Herzl (Hebrew: תִאוַדָר הֶרְצֵל, Ti'vadar Hertzel; Hungarian: Herzl Tivadar; May 2, 1860 – July 3, 1904), born Benjamin Ze’ev Herzl (Hebrew: בִּנְיָמִין זְאֵב הֶרְצֵל, also known in Hebrew as חוֹזֵה הַמְדִינָה, Khozeh HaMedinah, lit. "Visionary of the State") was an Austro-Hungarian journalist and writer. He is considered to have been the father of modern political Zionism and in effect the founder of the State of Israel.

God is a member of the church of whatever he grew up in on the planet he grew up on.
I make an end of my writing upon these plates, which writing has been small; and to the reader I bid farewell, hoping that many of my brethren may read my words. Brethren, adieu.

Joseph Smith taught: “It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the Character of God. … He was once a man like us; … God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, sel. Joseph Fielding Smith [1976], 345–46).

There is but one God and he has always been God. He had no parents and He didn't grow up. God as Christ Jesus did come down to live in this world to Save those who place their trust in Him.
