I only insult the insulting.... And don't claim you "don't care" what we/I believe.
If you didn't you wouldn't be here attacking Mormonism, Mormons, and Conservatism and Conservatives.

You don't see me on your websites attack YOUR beliefs do you?
I contend against the forces of evil.... That's what God teaches.
Yes, I'm not "politically correct" about it, and maybe that's not my religions "ideal".
But, it's not wrong. I only insult wrong.

But, you keep right on believing you're not a bigot and not the one to insult first.
Because I only insult YOUR insults.

Woe unto those who call good evil and evil good.

Please point out a single personal insult directed at you, ldsfaqs. I have an opinion on the appalling gun situation in America to which I am entitled...I am sorry if it does not coincide with yours. The last I heard this board is about mormondiscussions...there is no requirement that any poster has to agree with Mormonism in order to participate. If all you want are posts that agree with the Mormon position, I might suggest that this is not the board for you. I will read and respond to your posts when they do not contain personal jibes...I will not read or respond top them when you resort to name calling... such tactics do you nor your arguments any favors. I think they say more about you than what you are saying.

Okay....

You mean compared to other western nations Americans haven't "become violent killers, killing each other because of simple arguments, etc."? How many Americans need to be killed by guns each year in comparison with any other western countries for this not to be true. If children were burning down buildings at the same rate Americans are killed with guns for any reason don't you think there would be a national campaign to stop children getting hold of matches? Whatever the cause of the deaths, it is my view Americans are not responsible enough to continue to own guns.

I count two personal insults in your initial post.
Of course, they were indirect, but still personally insulting to me as a gun owner and believer, so the worse I said initially was you were dumb, ignorant, and moron for those personal insults, but backing them up by the facts which debunk your claims.

You then go on to be more insulting, and I insult you more back.

And then there you go, creating a LIE, a straw-man that you then attack, claiming that I believe "having the same beliefs" is what tolerance is. But again, you just don't understand.

Bearing false witness is LYING, not simply an "opinion" or a "belief".
Claiming America's are this and that, contrary to the truth and facts in order to justify your bigoted judgement is called LYING.
When Fanatical Islam say's the Jews and Christians are out to destroy Islam, is that an "opinion" or is that LYING? It's lying.
When Fanatical Islam say's Judaism and Christianity is false, is that lying or an "opinion"? It's an opinion....

Is your brain able to understand the difference between lying about people or thing and having a personal opinion about them? Do I need to teach the lesson again?

If you claim you like Green and someone else likes Blue, those are "opinions".
If you claim Green is actually Blue, then that's a LIE.

Thou shalt not bear false witness. It is a FUNDAMENTAL commandment of God.
If you so willingly break that commandment, how can you claim to serve God or Truth?

Mormons say your religion is false. We don't say you drink Christ's literal blood, or actually are Polytheists as BIGOTS of other groups do. The first is an opinion, the later two are lies.

You believe Grace alone, we believe Grace plus Works. Those are opinions.
You believe we believe Works save us. That is a LIE.

Understand?

ldsfaqs, you are off on a tangent...the discussions was about guns. My views do differ from yours on many things and in expressing them on this particular subject nowhere have I resorted to personal name calling the way you do. You will find that your posts earn more respect when they are not used...that is my point. .

I'm not interested in respect from bigots and those who bear false witness of others.
I condemn it, for what it is EVIL.

I am perfectly happy to be considered hated by the wicked. The good know who's right and who's wrong.

The Bottom Line
This topic of judging others could actually be taught in a two-word sermon. When it comes to hating, gossiping, ignoring, ridiculing, holding grudges, or wanting to cause harm, please apply the following:

Stop it!

(Dieter F. Uchtdorf)
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)
