And it Begins...

Again, what conservatives and conservative scholars/intellectuals have been warning of for many years as the inexorable development of the homosexual marriage movement, and what leftists, as always, roll their eyes and dismiss with a sanctimonious snort, is beginning.

It started years ago, of course, with the famous suit brought by two lesbians against a church owned venue in the U.S., but is now taking off in Europe on a larger scale.

The gay gestapo will not stop (as with the environmentalists, the food and lifestyle fascists, the Kinseyian sexual revolutionaries etc.) until all bow and pay obeisance to their lifestyles and sexual proclivities and until all are complicit through the force of law in support of their sexuality and its associated underculture.
Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father [in Heaven] and how familiar his face is to us

- President Ezra Taft Benson

Droopy I think you're right. While I know you're not running for congress, Mike Lee (T) of Utah made a very good point after the election when asked why some of the Tea Party congressmen had lost their seats during the 2012 election. He felt they had lost their focus on economic issues and had become mired in social issues. We all have opinions on social issues, but what is the greatest threat to our civil rights? It's not just that taxes are too high. It's the selective enforcement of who ultimately must pay these high taxes and who gets a pass, as is always present in any socialistic regime. The crony capitalism demonstrated by the Obama administration in exempting powerful big businesses from the worst law in recent history, which is Obamacare, while socking it to other businesses by implementing this crippling legislation and the IRS essentially making people of one political ideology pay more taxes than another... These are the kind of abuses of human rights that would be worth a revolution. Mike Lee is doing more to stop this onslaught against the American taxpayer than anyone else currently can because he is choosing his battles wisely.

While I don't agree with homosexual marriage, it's worth pointing out that homosexuals are not necessarily takers. welfare queens, hustlers, or scammers. They're not having children and demanding their neighbors pay for it. They're not robbing people and demanding that people not be suspicious of them. They're not stretching the resources of civilized society by forcing us to police, adjudicate, and rehabilitate constant criminal behavior.

There is an element of radical liberalism that seeks to inculcate homosexuality into children. On the one hand this has to be stopped. On the other hand, at least it's not creating more welfare babies. What are the chances that a large portion of the gay community would stop at marriage equality and it would actually be over?

In spite of the spread of socialism, the Tea party showed that conservatives can win elections and are not as disenfranchised as the left now gloats. What we really need is Tea party control of the presidency and both houses of congress. First secure our most basic right to private property, then we can tackle social issues.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
