You are getting the "rapture" mixed up with the "Transfiguration." That event did take place in the lifetime of the disciples. They saw Jesus radiant and glorified. They also saw Jesus resurrected. These things did happen in the lifetime of the Apostles, etc. The problem is that the disciples also began to believe Christ was returning soon. That was not the case, and Jesus never said that he was going to come right back. In fact Jesus said that the Father knew the time of his return and that he was not aware of when that was ---- though he did predict that such would happen as in the days before the Flood, and without warning...

Please link me to the post and I will address it in full.

And as I pointed out, I explained exactly what they meant repeatedly. You continue to insist that that's not what they meant. You're just calling me a liar now with nothing to support your claim but your own assertion.

Daniel said,

Bump for Jason. How can he follow Christ when it's clear he lied? How can he follow the Bible when it's clearly wrong in so many places?

I have. You're the one who is leaning on naked assertion.

Yeah, in fact it happened before his prophecy, and there was no moon going dark, angels blaring their trumpets, or Jesus coming in clouds of heaven. Your reading fails.

You said you directly addressed my claims. I asked you to link me to the post, because I obviously missed it. Now you're entirely and conspicuously ignoring my request. Can you link me to the post or not?

Start listening and get back to me. If this is what it takes to get a response out of you, so be it.

No, I'm not listening to that. You said you provided an argument. All you have to do is link me to the post where you addressed my concerns. I'm beginning to think that there was never any such post, and that you just lied. Can you prove me wrong? I will be happy to apologize and to fully engage your argument if you can just provide the link to the place where you directly addressed my claim that Christ includes his second coming in "all these things." It's as simple as that.
