Martha Nibley Beck didn't realize her father was a pagan Egyptian priest who molested her until she went through hypnotherapy. That also wasn't true. I go by evidence, not a model that accommodates sudden ex post facto revelations of things that did not happen to get revenge with the help of obsessed haters like you.
Lesson learned...there's no point arguing with a misogynist in a debate about women's issues!

And when you have run out of bad arguments you turn to ad hominem. You would make a fine Mopologist.

The proper response to John and Anne's relationship was to fire them both.
LOL you should have stopped there.

How much sense does it make to fire someone and then immediately rehire them?? 1099 or otherwise?

Again, I'll ask the question: what actual organizational ramifications did John face for his actions (since we're all in agreement they were at the very least a teeny bit wrong)?

He was fired...and then rehired. He was kicked off the board...then unanimously voted back on. He got a raise, including mysterious backpay, the very next year.

The proper response to John and Anne's relationship was to fire them both. Which the board did.

Then they offered John and Anne new positions to rehire them. John accepted, Anne rejected.

So what it boils down to is the anger that John was treated more favorably by the board, which they themselves admitted on Mormonism Live? Is James arguing they should have kept John fired and hired Anne back to run Mormon Stories?
When you remove all the BS that various people are pushing, that is exactly what it boils down to. You may be going too far in supposing that JP would be happy with any outcome for JD that doesn't include a life of solitary shame, but you are definitely moving in the right direction here.

Did they or did they not offer to rehire A?

You don't know "my record," JP. You know how I have responded to one or two unhealthy obsessives on a crusade against Dehlin.

Thank you, Stig. I value our association outside of this little bubble of a board.

They offered to let her re-apply. As you know, that is not the same as offering to re-hire.
