I'm also reminded of the Satanic Ritual Abuse scare during the 80's and 90's, when xians propagated false rumors of a world-wide conspiracy of Satanists to kidnap small children to abuse and use in violent rituals.
I never hard that. I do remember hearing that cats might have been hurt by Satanists but snopes.com is inconclusive... Though they have not said that it doesn't happen.

Here's what you said...
LITTLENIPPER: Might God have hardened Hitler's heart to re-establish Israel as a nation, where there were once only dry bones? :surprised:

LITTLENIPPER: Everyone will die. Is that genocide as well?

LITTLENIPPER: However, the holocaust is directly the result of the Jews rejection of Christ.

What you're doing here is A) marginalizing the Holocaust, and B) blaming the Jews for what the Nazis did to them. This is a textbook example of antisemitism. Ergo, you suck.
God promised Israel that if they remained true to God they would never have to live in fear. Where the Nazis eventually punished? Did not Hitler kill himself? You are a textbook atheist. You scrape for crumps to suit your itching ears. But you do not accept sound doctrine because you do not accept that the Bible is God's Holy Word.

Yes, I can and I did. Please go back to where you and I first discussed the difference between the phonetic and radical components of Han characters.

So...now that I've given three of four good examples of xians employing deception when attempting to evangelize non-believers, would you please tell me you find it necessary?
Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.

I tend to think of myself as more of an agnostic, but thank you for the compliment.

Scrape for crumps???

Right--when everything else fails, threaten them with hellfire and brimstone. Gotcha.

So why do you and certain other xians practice deception when evangelizing non-believers? Still waiting for an answer...

And I believe you are wrong. Who is deceived --- me or you? I am sure that one can study ancient Chinese and see differences between that and modern Chinese. But the question is going to be what came first. Clearly, if none of the characters are expressed as those who promote the truth of the Flood say they do in ancient Chinese records, but only modern ones, then there is an error. However, I believe that the ancient Chinese writing supports the interpretation you seem to fault.

I minored in Mandarin Chinese in college. I served a Mormon mission in the republic of China (Taiwan). I taught ESL in China. I consulted at Beijing Film Academy on the subject of historic process photography. So, I like to think I maybe know a little more about Chinese characters than you do.

Tortoise shell script predates them all.

Sorry--this is complete gibberish. You really have no idea what you're talking about.

Thank you for admitting this is nothing more than an unfounded belief on your part. You are free to believe anything your little heart desires. But you still totally suck.

This has been a lot of fun, Nipper. But I need to go, now. Later, dude.

And you are not a believer, and as such we will never agree on this topic for obvious reasons. Jews are the Chosen seed of Abraham. The Hebrew nation was intended to be a living example of God's love to the world as a Theocracy. You are anti-Christian. And the fact is that many Jews were saved simply by leaving all their possessions behind and fleeing Germany. However, that doesn't mean that Germany was not ultimately held accountable for their contribution.

I feel that the direction of how Chinese was taught to you (in this recent era) had little if anything to do with the Bible. And it was likely an early Chinese Bible translator who began to note the symbolism in the Chinese picture writing. It's likely that you were more influenced by the People's Republic of China than you might wish to consider. Don't let the door hit your butt as you go...
