dehlin, the Mayan Elephant hobby horse. But what Mayan does not seem to see/realize (as pointed out by others) is his behavior in this regard shoots past hobby horse to pure obsession. John can not be mentioned with out Mayan's predictable hate spamming of the thread to follow.
Poor Mayan, so emotionally damaged in some way by JD to invoke such an endless flow of hate towards anything jd.
+1. Only thing I'd add is that the obsession extends to Equality ([real name deleted]) and [real name deleted] (Rosebud) as well.
Mayan Elephant wrote: nom was around long before dehlin. see rosebud's post for a description of the relationship between nom and dehlin. dehlin still owns staylds.com, which could be be described as something along the lines of nom.

From a Neutral Observer, it seems that you, Rock Slider, are at least as obsessed with Mayan Elephant's JD obsession as Mayan is obsessed with JD. There are approximately as many people who can't resist commenting on Mayan's commenting on JD threads as there are people who can't resist commenting on JD threads.

it is interesting that, rather than just withdraw from this board, you would do something so damn irritating and taxing for the moderators, forcing them to ban you or censor you.
"Rocks don't speak for themselves" is an unfortunate phrase to use in defense of a book produced by a rock actually 'speaking' for itself... (I have a Question, 5.15.15)

Rosebud ('s alt I assume) is an admin here?
I think MBB stands for Mormons Building Bridges, If I recall correctly.
"The Church is authoritarian, tribal, provincial, and founded on a loosely biblical racist frontier sex cult."--Juggler Vain "The LDS church is the Amway of religions. Even with all the soap they sell, they still manage to come away smelling dirty."--Some Schmo

Ok. The distinction is confusing though because the same leaders are involved with the workshop and the MMHA and the MMHA states on it's website that: "we endeavor to ensure that the projects we undertake 1) support individuals in Mormon-related faith crises, 2) save marriages, 3) heal families, and 4) celebrate, challenge, and advance Mormon culture in healthy ways." The workshop seems to fit directly within this purpose.

I can understand the confusion. But the Open Stories Foundation ran that workshop. MMHA wasn't even really formed yet...or had barely been formed.
