Bumping for Thorwald

You laugh now, but the scriptures tell us, that our life span on earth is like a 'vapour' compared to 'eternity'.

Those who do not believe in and follow the scriptures will face eternal darkness (since they loved it so much on earth during their lifetime), and there will be no rest for these people. They will thirst, and be hot, but there will be no water for them. They too will last forever, but will not be allowed into the new Jerusalem where the light for those who are within, comes from the throne of God.

It sounds like you are in real trouble now, Bazooka! Thorwald has damned you to Hell. Little did we know that Thorwald speaks for God. I'm sure I will see you in Hell when the time comes.

Do you think we can get a good bottle of wine in Hell to share? If it's Mormon Hell, I'll bet we can.

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Then again, some people have an overinflated opinion of their own importance.

Either you are making a lot of stuff up to bolster your own ego, or you need to speak with a mental health specialist as soon as possible.

I don't see a third option.

I think that depends more on where you live. For example, they don't have "Hell" in India--they have reincarnation in India. And if you happen to live near Skywalker Ranch, you have the option of becoming an apparition of the Force, like Yoda and Obiwan.
Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.

No, I will continue to believe people 'damn themselves to Hell. We are given the freedom to believe, or not to believe, in the scriptures. We can choose to follow God, or follow Satan. Satan is the prince of the world. Jesus is the prince of the throne of God. Follow who you wish. Jesus knows His sheep.

There's more than a few Fundamentalists out there who also have knowledge of sheep.

Why do you even bother posting to my threads? You have basically told us that you do not believe in the Bible. O.K. I get it. This is the last time I will respond to your posts. Have fun, while you can.

I post replies to your thread because the best way to test an idea is to see what happens when it collides with opposing ideas. A superconducting super-collider works according to a similar principle.

No--what I don't believe in is a literal interpretation of the Bible.

What the heck is wrong with Christians these days? In ancient times, Christians gladly suffered martyrdom, proclaiming their faith with their dying breaths. But today's Christians get all butt-hurt at the first signs of disagreement. What's up with that, Thorwald?

That's the plan.

Thorwald, in another thread says he thinks baptism is not necessary. So... Thorwald is basically saying he too, does not believe in the Bible.
