Actually this isn't accurate.
Most Mormons don't attend Church at all, the vast majority in fact.
Of those that do (around five and a half million) less than half of them are tithe paying adults.
So there's a less than 3 million truly invested adult members, globally.
When you consider a fair proportion of those tithe paying adults are married to each other, there's somewhere south of two million Mormon families. Less again if you want to roll to extended families.

"Most Mormons" is a pitifully microscopic demographic.

Star B:

Very Interesting Post.

May I add those who regularly attend the temple. How far does it drop to?

I might suggest to you that at least some or perhaps many of these are now attending Evangelical churches and have simply not bothered to formally "withdraw."

But your average Evangenital doesn't go to church either, Nipper.

A while back I asked this question to some of the Christians I worked with: Does Gozer the Gozerian show up in the Old or the New Testament?

All of them said the Old Testament.

Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Yes. Many so-called Christians regularly attend church. 1 in 5 who do attend church read the Bible.

Gozer. LOL! Watch until the end. Gozer might show up.

Any answers to the questions posed.

It took me a whole minute to decode.
Well calculated/malicious freudian slip...

Please misericorde misericordia for non-native-English readers!
khm... A misericorde (/ˌmɪzərɪˈkɔrd/ or /-zɛrɪ-/) was a long, narrow knife, used in medieval times to deliver the death stroke (the mercy stroke, hence the name of the blade, derived from the Latin misericordia, "act of mercy") to a seriously wounded knight.

If You could ask some scripture-experts bible-readers Mormons about Elijah/Isaiah/Jeremiah and Elias/Esaias/Jeremy, they would answer those are different persons. As did JS...

Why don't you just say that the average person doesn't attend church anymore... Christians are hardly average in God's sight. They are in fact the seeds that fell onto the good soil. They were not the seeds eaten by birds or that fell among the rocks or were chocked by the weeds.

Because we're comparing the attendance rates of Mormons vs. Evangenitals.

Here's what you're trying to say: The moral worth of a human being is ultimately determined by whether he or she is lucky enough to have been born in a Western European Judeo-Christian culture.

See above.
