Ahem... I understand !
So, your god (the one of thousands which you believe in) made laws which can not be kept, to prove us that we are woody.
I would never ever discipline my children or grandchildren this way.
"You, you stupid ass, can not swim even I commanded it! You half-baked immature being!"
A brilliant schooling. Fitting to your god...
by the way
1. "sinful"
This word makes no sense. Every religion define their list of sins. Sometimes they are overlapping, many times they are different. You have your own ones...
The definition: sin is something that somebody calls something as such.
2. "mans"
Man, English is my third language, but I know all irregular plurals!
At least most of.

Re: Is God changing?
God changed to conform the his adherents with a post hoc explication to justify the change.
The god of the Old Testament is not the god of the New Testament, unless he is schizophrenic. The Old Testament god is a sociopath reflective of the culture that created him.
As an aside, how many more times in the Old Testament are shrimp described as an abomination, than homosexuality? Now we can get into the nuanced arguments of whom which chunks of the law were given to, and which chunks Jesus fulfulled.... but better:
Historically when did the conflagration of the distinct smite gods of yhwh and El occur?

I only believe in One real GOD --- who happens to be TRIUNE in His very nature. The Creator. God doesn't mistreat His creation. And we are His creation and not birth children as some may wish to believe. Also, because of turning away from GOD, man is living without having a relationship with GOD. You say you don't believe in GOD. You don't see GOD or hear GOD. You seem to indicate that GOD doesn't exhibit Himself in anyway to you.
I would suggest that GOD is being very merciful to you in that He is giving you every opportunity to find Him. He knows that without Him you are going to spend an eternity separated from Him due to your own blindness and this is not the fault of GOD. You have a sin nature --- not Him. The reality is that sin equals open rebellion towards GOD. We all were hateful but GOD allows us the opportunity through Christ to become loving and kind. But we must be willing to acknowledge that we are lost.
You're upset concerning GOD's apparent judgments, and yet you are annoyed at me over a mere grammatical error of seemingly no consequence. I failed your expectation of English Grammar... We have all failed GOD's expectation for our very existence. GOD wants to commune with us but cannot because of our rebellion. GOD, because of HIS very innate nature had only 2 choices. One was to send everyone to hell and start over, or pay the penalty HIMSELF and redeem those willing to accept that payment on their behalf.
If you don't accept the payment, GOD has no natural recourse but to place you and anyone else in rebellion to HIM in hell ----- separated ---- apart. In this way GOD gets to reprogram select individuals to be exactly as He envisioned. We have an opportunity to be like Christ --- loving, kind, longsuffering, merciful, understanding, willing to sacrifice ourselves. GOD gave us each different personalities. However our personalities are presently corrupted with rebellion.
So, you have a choice. Seek GOD and admit your own faults or fret over misspelling and grammar but remain eternally in the dark.
Oh, I do apologize for my error. I'm sure there are plenty where that came from ---- I have repaired it.

"I believe. .. one real god"
Key word believe. So does everyone else who believes in exu, allah, shiva, yada yada. And you all have the same amount of tangible evidence. 0

People believe in those others for what exactly? Why did India and China and Japan develop a cast system with ruler/god worship? Was not Japan's Hirohito their "god"? Was not this ruler behind the attack on Pearl Harbor. Didn't they lose the war? Did Hirohito save Japan? How about China --- are they not in the very same boat? India has a religious based caste system that has only been challenged by Christian missionary work. This is no yada, yada, yada!
The fact is that Christian ethics have tempered the extremism of other religious beliefs. Chinese women no longer bind their feet because of Christian missionary influence. Moslem countries have the Red Crescent as a direct influence of the Christian founded Red Cross and not visa versa. The caste system of India is beginning to blur due to Christian missionary influences. So, the logic is that if Christianity is undermining the core values of such beliefs, then how superior can such values be to the light of true Christian faith? Italians no longer worship Jupiter. Greeks no longer worship Zeus. The Norse don't seek Thor. So, every thought about other "gods" and or "goddesses" is really lame.
What pagans worship today is primarily sports figures, movie celebrities, and entertainers. And none of these are remembered for very long as tastes, styles, and fads come and go. If you want to seek GOD , all you need to do is ask HIM for understanding and a real relationship and help. If you cannot do even that for GOD, what would you expect from GOD with regards to YOU?

Wow. Just wow. Study history. The bias of your lens of cultural superiority is blinding you to reality.

Re: Is God changing?
If God is as expansive as the Universe, then the change can be viewed as a constant based on the rate of expansion. If not, we could measure God on the scale of death and taxes. If not subject to the constants of death and taxes, then God must also be changing on this scale as well.

Are you obliquely referencing the "Is hell endothermic or exothermic" question?

The Crusades were the result of Moslem aggression against Constantinople and the Byzantine Empire and the closing of Christian historic sites in the Mideast. Jesus Christ was a Jewish boy raised by Jewish parents in a Jewish community. His great uncle was a priest at the temple of Jerusalem. And his Apostles were all Jewish men. The Church was originally made up entirely of discipled Jews. What you fail to realize is that Christianity is the biblical answer to Judaism.
Slavery, as practiced Biblically, was more of an indentured servitude. One was able to buy one's way out, work one's way out, or wait until the Jubilee every 49 years and be freed. The slavery practiced in the Europe and America was the continuation of that instituted by pagan Rome. In other words ancient history was used as the excuse for slavery by some practicing Christians and many pagans. The Civil War was considered by most all Christians as God's judgment against the evils of slavery. It is not well know today that slavery is still practiced widely in Africa among pagan tribes.

Colonialism is a political bureaucratic process by which a government spreads its sphere of influence through the subjugation of a native population. It is more of a Darwinian model of survival of the fittest where sophistication subjugates inferior natives and encourages immigration to subdue the land and send raw materials back to the "Mother Government" (I mean country). Christians tried and were very successful in many cases in protecting groups who would have been annihilated by godless individuals who had no care whatsoever of saving either lives or souls. The man who wrote Amazing Grace (John Newton) was at one time a slave trader and had no love of God but came under growing conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Your education is showing. You are the product of a post Mid 20th century humanistic socialistic atheistic public education. Why would you not be so un informed and bigoted against Christianity. Mormonism certainly was no help either.
