This growth is due to the Book of Mormon!
2 Nephi 5:15 says, And I did teach my people to build buildings, and to work in all manner of wood, and of iron, and of copper, and of brass, and of steel, and of gold, and of silver, and of precious ores, which were in great abundance.
2 Nephi 5:16, And I, Nephi, did build a temple; and I did construct it after the manner of the temple of Solomon save it were not built of so many precious things; for they were not to be found upon the land, wherefore, it could not be built like unto Solomon’s temple. But the manner of the construction was like unto the temple of Solomon; and the workmanship thereof was exceedingly fine.
The temple of Solomon took 180,000 men a period of 7 years to build. So I guess it took 8 men and 10 women 70,000 years, minus the time for the missing fineries of course, which were in great abundance but not to be found upon the land.
FAIR: They were in great abundance but found in rivers and lakes, not upon the land. They weren't used in the temple because the women didn't like getting their hair wet. The temple was like unto Solomon's but 10,000 times smaller.
1Ne 11:25 which led to the fountain of living waters, or to the tree of life; which waters are a representation of the love of God;
1Ne 12:16 And the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold the fountain of filthy water which thy father saw; yea, even the river of which he spake; and the depths thereof are the depths of hell.
FAIR: Excommunication is a court of love. In similar vein the fountain of waters which represent the depths of hell represent the love of God. "It's fur yer own good me son, next time obey me when I tell you to diddle yer neighbor's wife."
Kolob’s set time is “one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest” (Abraham 3:4). I take this as a round number. - Gee
