Not to mention it's an utterly meaningless accusation. Maybe the child development people could weigh in more specifically, but it's my understanding that children that age really can't form intent like that or have their behavior defined and judged as promiscuity.
This is in the context of a family law case. In family law, there are cases where child molestation allegations prove to be true but litigants also use these allegations to get the upper hand in custody determinations as well. So, while the accusations may be valid, I would need to know more. I viewed the video and some questions come to mind. What brought this guy to the conclusion that the molestation was going on against his daughters? Did the girls tell him something? Did they start acting funny? The recording of Mickelson offering money needed more context. What was said in the entire conversation? Just because the guy was offered money doesn't necessarily mean there is any meat to this. Mickelson's higher ups could have been telling him to resolve the issue quickly because mere accusations tend to be taken as true among some. Or there could have been some truth to it. Anyway, I think the video needs more context and meat otherwise it seems like it is merely overblown allegations done in a family law case.

Welp. Judge for yourself!
I call BS. I listened to the full conversation and it DOES NOT support his accusations. They may simply be discussing the divorce ONLY or a number of other possible situations related to it. If he really had evidence of his accusations and a recording of it, then give it to the DA. The fact he didn't do that is all you need to know here. If I were the Elder though, I would sue this guy for slander.
Suing for slander would just draw more attention to this. Whether the allegations are true or not, I doubt Mickelsen would want this kind of attention.

Could we perhaps agree on changing "is merely overblown allegations" to "could simply be overblown allegations"? We simply don't know for sure at present.
Child-blaming is a common tactic among adults who are confronted with indications that a respected member of their family may have been involved in inappropriate behavior with a child.
Sometimes they may simply say the child is lying, and sometimes they may say that the child 'led the adult on'. But to make the accusation that a pair of 6 year old girls led their grandfather into inappropriate activity, if that accusation was made, would seem to smack of a desperate effort to do a pre-emptive deflection of blame away from the adult.
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

I have no problem with how you wish to characterize it. However, I still would like to know more before I believe what this guy is saying. So many family law cases have false allegations of abuse that the evidence needs to be tighter than this guy gave. That doesn't mean that he isn't telling the truth but the presumptions in his video beg for more evidence of what really went on.

The only thing that felt real was how the GA grandfather blamed the girls for his arousal that part seem consistent with a sexually repressed Mormon GA

The video up till the last 3/4 or some seemed reasonable and interesting, maybe he's just grandstanding or misrepresenting and such in some way, or is telling the whole truth, but it could go either way, but then the last section get's just stupid. He talks about the church owning everyone due to the temple Oath, especially the old one, and misrepresenting it saying they will kill themselves to protect the Church lol, and he talks about the church doing "satan worship" per that and whatever.
by the way, the way the statement was written it seems they are saying that the GA was molested by 2 girls when HE was 3-6 lol.
I was going to tell a story how my first sexual experience while in a foster home at the time was being molested at the age of 5 I think by a six year old and her sister my age wanting to do it to and doing a little herself. They were in the home apparently because a parent or something molested the older girl.

If Ron Karren got custody of the children rather than their mother, Jean Mickelsen (who since married Shane Berger, CEO of Beehive Federal Credit Union) with Daddy Warbucks Lynn Mickelsen paying for her divorce attorney, then that gives some credence to Ron Karren's story.
