Can Infowars be counted on for the reliability of this information? A cynic of this election might conclude that the nastier the rhetoric, the more successful the campaign.
Well has the election blown you away yet?!

I'm shocked, but at the same time maybe it shouldn't be a surprise. Trump seemed to have far more energized voters, while Clinton was the DNC version of Dole/McCain, the old veteran who seemed to get the nomination because it was her turn. The warning signs were there with Clinton unable to pull away in the polls even after Trump's scandals. Her email scandals didn't help either. It felt like people weren't voting for Clinton, they were voting against Trump. I know I was. Trump supporters were voting for Trump because, as Michael Moore said, he's a molotov cocktail to the system. There is a large segment of the population that wants to burn it all to the ground, and Trump represents their hopes and dreams. I'm confident our system is strong enough to prevent even Donald Trump from screwing it up too much. I am looking forward to his acceptance speech where he calls Hillary a loser. And can we finally put to rest the conspiracy theories that the elections are rigged?

Can anyone recommend a really good cardio program for Ruth Bader Ginsberg?

What's odd is that the voting trends by state over three hours ago seemed to lock Hillary Clinton out of a possible victory. And now, even further along, no major network will yet call it for Trump. It's as if they're all too afraid to take that leap.

No not odd, they've called it before based on predictions, not actual vote count, and have been wrong. Burned them big time. Until the close races are officially announced, they'll not call it. Though, NYT called it via their dashboard app hours ago, but they'll wait for the vote counts to be submitted before actually, calling it. Won't happen anytime soon, but you'll awake in the morning to president-elect Trump.

I am sickened. This is a disgusting animal who is now congratulating himself. What an utter embarrassment he is. We are now the laughingstock of the entire world.

There are some hard days coming folks. Be ready.

I was discussing the US election with a few Korean friends (meaning people who live in Korea, not Korean-Americans) a couple of weeks ago. Funnily enough, one of them brought a discussion of Trump to an end by saying 'We don't need to talk any more about that disgusting animal'.
And that sums up the impression that the USA is now about to make on large parts of the world: that big shining model of democracy and hope in America voted for that man? Maybe we are better off with Xi Jinping and a tightly controlled internet after all. Why would we want to be like the USA and get a leader like that?
There are many bad things that are likely to start happening once Trump gets his hands on the levers of power with a Republican-controlled congress behind him. But a lot of those can be reversed by a later election. Here, however, is the big worry:
What will all those poorly-educated and economically disadvantaged white men do when after four years of Trump they find that he has not 'brought back all the miners and steel-workers' jobs' from China and India? When they see he can do nothing to stop their standard of living falling and their communities staying abandoned in the rust-belt? When, in sum, Trump fails to bring the 1950s back? Because he simply can't do any of those things - the world has changed irreversibly, and even a US President does not have the power to turn back the clock.
Who will they blame, and on whom will their inevitable rage fall? The awful thing is that the world's best hope is probably that they fall into dumb despair rather than voting for someone even worse than Trump who promises that he really, really can fix it where Trump couldn't.
