I don't care what the church does with the relics. My testimony is not based on the relics but the Book of Mormon. I don't care what the Michigan museum does with the relics as long as they are on display to the public to do otherwise I think would be tragic. The fact that they are portrayed as fake doesn't bother me. There has to be some faith involved in believing in the Book of Mormon. I would regret the day in this life that everyone had a pure knowledge of the truthfulness and authenticity of the lords scripture the Book of excellent Mormon.

So it doesn't bother you in the least that the church doesn't think you are right? You don't care that a living prophet and his 12 apostles, all who claim to be guided by Jesus Christ, decided that the Michigan relics are fake? Is it that you don't care because you are convinced that you are right and they are wrong?

Nope not in the least bit.

When it comes to how to draw closer to Jesus Christ I do very much what they say. But when it comes to areas outside of spiritual matters they have opinions based on their expire nice and knowledge of information. I think church leaders where wrong about the artifacts just like Brigham young was wrong to say that peopled live on the moon. His expiernce and knowledge about astronomy was limited if none existent.

Really? Now why is that? Because you would no longer be able to satisfy your masochistic desires by putting what you know are illogical, uneducated and very poorly thought-out pseudo-scientific random bits of nonsense out in front of readers, and then reveling in the humiliation you are guaranteed to receive?

Striving for martyrdom based on your lack of education and your unwillingness to learn is not really a positive thing, McKane.

So you are NOT a practicing, active Mormon then. That explains quite a bit. It's been suggested you post the way you do in order to make the Mormons look bad, I'll have to agree with that motive.

I think president benson or it was kimball got fooled buying a fake Joseph smith letter. If he was a expert on those type of things he might have chose to not buy forged documents. But either way this mistake did not stop him from giving guidance and inspiration to members on how to draw closer to Jesus Christ. The prophets and apostles are not infallible.

The problem I see is that your view is a prophet should and needs to be perfect in all aspects of life.

They like all men(women) are subject to error. The good thing is that God, on occasion, chooses to talk to them and us anyway.

So do you think apostle M. Russel Ballard is wrong?

Is There Scientific Proof Authenticating the Book of Mormon

He was one of the apostles at the time the church decided the Michigan relics are fake.

If you listen to Elder Ballard talking on that youtube link, don't you even wonder why you make such a big deal out of your attempts to produce evidence? And now you say the church was wrong. What is going on David McKane? Do you really think your so-called research will help the church? Do you think that by using hoax artifacts, misinterpreting and misrepresenting science and claiming that the church was wrong that your efforts will somehow help? What I really think is that Moroni's promise just isn't doing it for you and you are fighting against truth, even against the counsel of the leaders of your church, to try to make the Book of Mormon real for yourself. I can tell you from my own experience that the kind of things you are claiming actually drove me into deeper research and helped me to realize that the Book of Mormon is not real.

I'm here to promote my opinion on where the Book of Mormon took place nothing else.

I have the most realistic model. Meso American apologist can't punch holes in it.

I think church leaders should study the evidence posted.

I have also done plenty of deep research and it hasn't phased me.
