There have been some intimations of that recently. For example, your request of Shades. Your repeated assertions that I don't have anything worthwhile to say, etc. I wouldn't recommend you for the position of Secretary of State. Not very diplomatic.

Chap wrote:The topic is, however, yourself. You do not seem to have anything to say of any substance, so far as I can see.

And there you go. As recently as yesterday over on this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44407

I think I had some thoughts/contributions that were worth the time I spent making them. At least to me anyway. Who knows? Someone else...not you, of course...may have gained something from what I contributed. That thread is not an anomaly, in my opinion. YMMV.

by the way, that thread was going along OK until you and Lemmie hopped in and basically derailed it into a thread about me.

Chap wrote:And you certainly show precious few signs of shutting up and clearing off. Quite the reverse.

And there you go again, Chap. That's not intimidation? Your chess moves are transparent and predictable.

by the way, some have said that I prattle on and am a waster of bandwidth, etc. The thing is, I...as well as you...like to protect my good name. When hecklers are continually attacking that good name I am morally obligated to "speak truth to power", so to speak. Some will call that narcissistic. Some will call that a form of addictive behavior (as recently as yesterday)...but it's not. I will not stand for unfair, vindictive behavior on the part of a collective group who's goals/objectives are very similar as they attack the 'lone wolf'.

Although, let it be said, it does get a bit tedious having to ward off the same baseless attacks almost every time I participate in a thread. This board has deteriorated in a number of respects. Thus, my concerns posted to Shades in this thread. Still looking forward to an adequate reply from him.

And did I mention the endless annoying whining?

Yep. That's it.

Go back and read some recent posts. I'm not going to repeat myself. To be honest, it's not worth it with you.

Nice to fit people into a pigeonhole, huh?

pigeonhole: a neat category which usually fails to reflect actual complexities

This is getting tedious. Can't YOU stop making this all about me and get back to the purpose for this board?

What power are you speaking to?

Are you comparing yourself to this guy?

Self-dramatize much?

No-one hear except Shades can stop you talking about yourself on every thread until hell freezes over. Which you seem determined to do.

YOU are making it a point to keep talking about ME. If you would STOP it...that would be just peachy.

This post that I am responding to is YOU bringing ME up again.

Par for the course. For a number of folks here. For the sake of my good name...as I've already said (if you're even listening), I respond. As I've said also, it's getting a bit tedious. Could you just cut out already? Or are you now a stalker like Lemmie?

You have it back a**ed backwards dude. As a few others do also.

I don't understand how anyone could have such a deep thirst for the mundane. I mean, this entire thread is one huge eye roll.

I'm hoping to hear from Shades in response to my OP, in regards to a couple of comments/questions/concerns I have.

That's all.

If you will click on the link in my post, you will find that I gave you a rather better source on the origin of your self-dramatizing slogan than you did.

Send him a private message and spare the rest of the reading world your self absorbed nonsense. Play well with others or don't. But geez, stop with the cyclical whine fests already.

He felt like some good points have been brought up and said he would come back and respond. I think it might be well to see his response in the public forum. Thanks for your suggestion.

In the past I've enjoyed coming into threads or starting threads and having conversations with folks like canpakes, honor, and others (it was kind of fun!). Those days seem to be on the wane because other folks...especially Lemmie and grindael...feel it their calling to come into almost every thread I participate on and start throwing verbal grenades (accusations of dishonesty, lack of intellectual integrity and the like) around to get the thread off topic.

My word you are just so full of crap it's unbelievable. You are a self identified teacher who can't get along with his own peer group. If you like the exchanges you have had with certain posters, then that's who you play with. If you don't like the way Lemmie and grindael play, don't play with them.

A first grader knows this.
