I see no reason for such wasted efforts and a really really really really slow process of evolution when a God-like figure could easily have a much shorter pathway. Our human body is a bit of a mess from millions of years of evolution with no end product in mind. Lots of wasted information.

Like I said, that is the best argument this view has, which is not very good. It doesn't answer why an eternal being would want to waste so much time and effort. Humans like most life has plenty of problems. Problems that don't need to be there. The view used to be that is was all done in days, but now we know life on earth is billions of years old. So the view changes to what is a billion tears to an eternal being. I might live life differently if I was an eternal being, but I wouldn't go out of my way to take an astronomically longer time to get something done then I need to, or make so many mistakes doing it.

Want to know what eternity is like while in this life? Put your finger in a vice. This life is like putting our fingers in a vice. Take as long as you want it still hurts.

Eternity is like a little child expecting Christmas and afterwards realizing he has a whole year to wait before experiencing it once more...

Kent Hovind? "Dr. Dino?"

"Having a website called "Dr. Dino" has provoked some academics to look closely at how Hovind presents his education and credentials. All his known degrees are from unaccredited institutions, and he has no training in paleontology.[11] Barbara Forrest, a professor of philosophy, expert on the history of creationism and activist in the creation-evolution controversy, wrote that Hovind's lack of training makes academic discussion impossible[10] and has said that his understanding of historical and scientific research is deficient.[12] Patriot University is a diploma mill.[12][13] Karen Bartelt, an organic chemistry professor who debated Hovind,[10] examined Hovind's dissertation and found it is incomplete,[notes 2] contains numerous spelling errors, lacks references, shows flawed reasoning, and states that it does not present any original research."

There's more. Do you ever read or do you just cut and paste Bible stuff?

So a fundy criminal without scientific training and demonstrably moronic views on science is a "Christian Scientist"? Mary Baker Eddy will rise from the grave and sue you.

You'd better stick to the Bible, Nipper. When you get to the end, just start over. It's all you're capable of.

The youtuber is claiming that they are asking evolutionists questions about observing it.

Note that they do not show the whole answers that people give. Instead, they edit and cut out anything like a complete answer. Then they manipulate that to try and make the scientists look inconsistent.

It's actually very dishonest. But I understand that you don't have a coherent argument or facts and you refuse to learn any or consider what you've been shown on this board. If you need to promote dishonesty to cling to your faith, you must do what you must do. It's a pitiable faith that must be based on so many distortions and so much ignorance and even lies. It shows the hypocrisy of spoiled children who want their fairy tales AND their modern conveniences. The benefits of adulthood without the responsibilities. You can find these silly youtubes along with occult and political extremism, all presented without facts, without context, by people who don't stand behind them. They're to stroke the egos of uneducated people, telling them that their religious hobbies are the equivalent of scholarship and research. All you have to do is venture out into the real world to discover that...they aren't.

It's unfortunate. We live in a golden age of discovery, mapping the universe from the Local Group of galaxies down to subatomic particles. You could be a part of it.

What matters is what the preponderance of the evidence tells us.

You don't learn about any evidence from a "University" like Patriot Bible University.
