You all have FAITH that haplo group X crossed the Bering ice bridge. Because you certainly do not have evidence for it.

Faith is something that is hoped for but can't be seen

Here the is the data it's comes from non LDS scientist researchers and historians

Who ever said there is no evidence for the Book of Mormon needs to rethink their stance.
There is direct or indirect evidence for every aspect of the ancient record.

David, it is not faith based. The published sources that detail the evidence have been given to you many times. Whether you choose to ignore it, discard it or outright misrepresent it is up to you, but claiming that I have based my understandings of the Beringian migration on faith is not true.

Here is something else that you linked to that you haven't dealt with.
http://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-n ... 180955976/

Did you read the article or just try to make a connection that Australians had migrated to America? The article says:

the researchers think that they all share a common ancestor that lived tens of thousands of years ago in Asia but that doesn’t otherwise persist today. One branch of this family tree moved north to Siberia, while the other spread south to New Guinea and Australia. The northern branch likely migrated across the land bridge in a separate surge from the Eurasian founders.

When you ignore evidence based timelines and ancient dates you are discarding science that conflicts with your faith. Doing that is not honest and does not lead to truth.

David McKane, we have gone through this to the point that it makes my head hurt. You still haven't removed the Michigan relics, the elephant effigy pipes, etc. from your writings. Until you do that your claims of direct evidence are absurd. You just keep right on posting the same discredited things. Why are you doing this?

You know, some people express their OCD through ritualized and compulsive behavior. Pretty good description of what you're doing, don't you think? If this is therapeutic for you, I'll be more sympathetic.

Wall of text.

What shall we post? Doesn't matter, does it? You won't produce a person of credibility and you keep trying to shift the burden. You think we've never seen a Mormon Gish gallop before. Silly boy, this is not the amateur forum no matter how many of you amateurs show up. You're only here because we allow freedom of posting and so you exploit that to advertise your, er, blog.

You do not seem to understand that researches who know nothing about the Book of Mormon are not going to vouch for it but their research does.

The best part about it is that they are non LDS.

The evidence is there.

The artifacts are there and so is the civilization.

You want a non LDS researcher who has never studied the Book of Mormon to confirm the link between the artifacts and hopewell civilization.

If a professional researcher does do this do you really think this will change your mind about the Book of Mormon I'm telling you it won't.

They don't need to know. They have dated the haplotype x and many things showing much older then Book of Mormon times. They deal with claims of old world connections to various artifacts all the time. It was the norm in Joseph's smith day, but the real science done in the last couple centuries has concluded very differently. They have no motivation to do so. Making these kind of connections would be very good for ones career. There is a reason history channels are creating shows about ancient aliens and such. It is more interesting to most people then the real science.
