"many politicians pushing Islam down our throat."
what planet are you talking about?
Am I supposed to feel compassion for the blazing phantasmagorical paranoia that this statement embodies.

The use of marijuana cocaine etc is just one example.
Atheism has no moral foundation for what is right or wrong moral or immoral.
Atheist view of right and wrong is on personal preference nothing else.
Atheism is a belief no different then believing in a god. They cannot prove god does not exist no more than Theist are able to prove God is the creator of this world.
Wrong on all counts. More atheist strawmen. You can invent all the cartoon atheists you want just like Jack Chick invented cartoon Mormons. It just demonstrates your ignorance and lack of a coherent argument. But at least you're consistent.

I don't speak for the atheist community. There is none. And I'm an agnostic.
There is no creed of atheism. Atheism is the absence of God in one's worldview. It is not a worldview. It is a position on a particular issue that in itself is seriously problematic.
Now, that said, I might say that I'm a secular humanist with libertarian leanings. Maybe that is what you're reaching for. But I know many humanists who take varying positions on politics, on issues like abortion, capital punishment, pacifism, socialism. etc. Most of us tend to be civil libertarians but there is no unified movement. There were some people who came up with a "Humanist Manifesto" long ago, just as Schaeffer came up with the "Christian Manifesto", but those reflect the views of a particular group at a particular time and cannot be called representative of all.
I hope that's answered your questions. If not, let me know.

The moral foundation for atheists is the same as the moral foundation for theists: a combination of brain wiring and selection from things other people have said or written. You determine the morality of an action the same way I do -- you just don't experience it as a choice.

A theist can point to scripture or words of a prophet or priest.
Since atheist can point to well written words what are these well written word that atheist use.
Here are some suggestions they can use
The Bible
The Book of Mormon
D&C
Pearl of great price

Scripture was written by humans. Prophets and priests are humans. Your're just choosing from things other humans have said and written. That's just what I do.
You also pick and choose from the many things found in scripture and said by prophets. As do I pick and choose from among things other humans have written and said.
When you claim you are doing something different, you are just fooling yourself.
