What does that entail?
The world is always full of the sound of waves..but who knows the heart of the sea, a hundred feet down? Who knows it's depth?

Accepting gods grace I see as faith repentance and baptism. IE following Christ example and teachings.

Re: The Mystery of Godliness
So to have the atonement applied to a person, they have do certain actions that are directed at God and Christ, is that correct?

It makes sense that if you accept gods free gift of grace. You first need to believe in that gift one faith second you need to progress in this life not get worse repentance and third follow his example baptism
If you reject anyone of these you reject grace
In other words it's the first ordances and principles of the gospel

It makes sense?
We have established that there are laws to be followed some of which at least transcend even God's authorship. Breaking these laws is sin. Christ fulfilled the demands of justice that require a price be paid for having broken these laws. Now Christ is giving this result as a gift.
We seem to be hung on what that then implies. If a person is obligated to Christ in trusting him, committing to behave like him, and then in baptism making an oath to be faithful to him...we're entering into a transaction. If we break said transaction we apparently have to pay the debt to justice Christ already paid. If Christ paid it and justice is satisfied who then is being repaid at that point?
I think all of that is a very logical way to view the implications of what we have discussed. Why is that a big deal to accept?

I would not call it a transaction but an agreement.
In a transaction both parties receive something of value. In this agreement wether people accept or reject his gift he gets nothing in return.

With consequences for the parties involved. So that's the same thing.

The book of Moses says god derives glory from our salvation. He's getting something.

There is of no consequence to Christ if people accept or reject his free gift
