From time-zone considerations, I think he is on my side of the pond. He is also obviously a native English speaker. I am provisionally guessing him as the articulate but rather naïve teenage son of one of the small number of relatively long-term British Mormon families, raised in a world where the church is everything. In his tiny closed milieu everybody knows that the church is true, the Book of Mormon is true, and all anti-Mormons are evil liars who hate the truth. Bear your testimony, fight on every hill, and in the end victory is sure!

There's a certain magnificent craziness to it, isn't there?

He's in the UK. I don't see what's magnificent about moving the goal posts until they fall over on you and then you run for the hills by trying to shut the other guy down.

It's his only survival skill. The running.

The Flood was a cleansing, a symbolic cleansing as well as a literal cleaning of the earth. And the predictions are that in the last days another similar cleaning will take place, this time by fire rather than by water, to prepare the way for the return of the Savior.

Q: How did an olive tree survive being submerged in (salt?) water for months in perfect health?

Yes, you're idea of "survived" consists of deflecting and avoidance. You couldn't even successfully follow through on exchanges regarding Joseph Smith Jr. trying to sell the copyright to the Book of Mormon. You danced around some and then you dropped it.

Running. It is just as I said.

The information on that is inconclusive. There is nothing more to say about it.
