I won't change from who I am. But I do evolve. As I've said a number of times, I'm just a regular guy...I really am ..who likes to participate in the flow/transfer of ideas. Discussing Mormonism and associated topics, I find interesting and actually kind of fun.

With some folks I am learning to practice a bit of stoicism. But it has take me a while to get there.

I always knew that I needed to take people as they are and from where they're at...literally...but it's a bit more difficult to put that into practice than one might think. The natural tendency is to fight and find fault.

It's important to remember that most folks are doing the best they can at any given time with what they've got.

You're right when you say that you didn't make the accusation.

What you DID do, was make a claim. Here is your claim:

No intellectual dishonesty.

I'm asking you to explain how the exchanges that were posted were NOT intellectually dishonest.

I'm asking you to support your claim.

For what it's worth, the few threads on this subject that were active the last few days have been valuable for me...

I've evolved and learned during this thread. I just finished reading your rather long post. I'm getting ready to leave for church right now. There were a couple things you said that I may have some comment on at another time. I'll have to check back later.

This is how you end up with 26 pages of trying to nail jello to the wall. He isn't at all serious, he disrespects the very people he communicates with by not responding directly to their questions or comments, in his mind he is bouncing ideas around when what he is actually doing is bouncing other human beings around.

People supply him with thoughtful and often lengthy responses in an attempt to communicate with him and for their efforts, he says that maybe he'll look into it some time or what have you. He engages no one else's points and makes no points of his own.

I don't know what else needs to be demonstrated (or how many times) for folks to realize he's a waste of time. There was a time in my online experience where I would spend time on someone like that and I don't fault anyone else for doing so.

The only truth is that the man cannot competently perform or follow through in a simple question/answer exchange.
