Mormon teach continuing revelation here is from one of there Prophets seer revelators

Joseph Fielding Smith said that "the law of sacrifice will have to be restored

At the time, if memory serves, he was a junior member of the Apostles when he said that stuff. Although he was a prophet, seer, and revelator in the Quorum, he did not have the authority or calling to give revelation for the whole church. Only the President of the church can make absolute doctrinal authoritative statements to the entire church. So, the teachings given from a junior prophet, seer, and revelator are given under the conditions that they might be correct but the church is under no obligation to sustain such doctrine.

even though the Mormon church teaches animal sacrifice after the death of Christ

A junior apostle wrote about such stuff. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a teaching within the confines of church writings. As I said, I don't know that the church teaches it or emphasizes it.

Teaches standard Mormon belief when he says that “good” spirits return to the earth and converse with Mormons to

1. Give counsel
2. Give confort
3. Obtain and give information
4. Serve as guardian angels
5. Prepare others for death
6. Summon mortals into the spirit world
7. Escort the dying through the veil of death

Deuteronomy 18
9 “When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. 13 You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. 14 For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.

15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear, 16 according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’

17 “And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

What did the Lord God of the Book of Deuteronomy teach about life after death?? Did the Lord God of the Book of Deuteronomy teach that the spirit of man continues after death??

The religion revealed by Moses to Israel contained NO TEACHINGS regarding the Afterlife! The Books of Moses do not teach about the Afterlife. There is no Paradise for the righteous, and no Hell-fire for the wicked. The Books of Moses only promise earthly blessings for the righteous, and earthly curses for the wicked (see Deuteronomy chapter 28); there are no Afterlife teachings other than we go to Sheol (the Pit) after death, where are toughts and hopes vanish.

The God of the Jews, Jehovah, offered no Paradise to the righteous, no Hell-fire to the Wicked. The Torah speaks of no Afterlife other than Sheol (the Pit) where our thoughts, hopes, and plans come to an end. Jehovah only promises earthly "blessings" to those who obey Him, and earthly "curses" to those who disobey Him, as outlined in Deuteronomy chapter 28

Deuteronomy 28 (NKJV)

58 “If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD, 59 then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues—great and prolonged plagues—and serious and prolonged sicknesses. 60 Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. 61 Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed. 62 You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God. 63 And it shall be, that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.

And then there is this Passage from the Book of Ecclesiastes.

Ecclesiastes 9 (NKJV)

5 For the living know that they will die;
But the dead know nothing,
And they have no more reward,
For the memory of them is forgotten.

Only one member in the First Presidency can receive revelation for the whole church, The Church President. His counselors cannot speak for the whole church and are prophets, seers, and revelators under the direction of the President. So, what Joseph Fielding Smith wrote was his own business regardless of his title in the church or his priesthood office.

Hence we have the king of false prophets, Jesus himself. He said he was coming back quickly and would rule the world. Well, 2,000 years have gone by and so will another 2,000 years and creepy Christ will have not returned. His word is void. His word is false.

I am not afraid of Christ. At all.

Uh........ not quite. The words were put into Christ's mouth by an overzealous early Christian Joseph Smith type of guy (or gal!) At least if I remember my Bart Ehrman lessons from his books.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are blessed to be led by living prophets—inspired men called to speak for the Lord, as did Moses, Isaiah, Peter, Paul, Nephi, Mormon, and other prophets of the scriptures. We sustain the President of the Church as prophet, seer, and revelator—the only person on the earth who receives revelation to guide the entire Church. We also sustain the counselors in the First Presidency and the members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators.

The junior prophets, seers, and revelators follow the lead of the senior prophet, seer, and revelator and conform and abide to him as if he was Moses in Israel. Let the junior apostles and prophet's speak but their word is NOT law nor is it binding on the church as a revelation to the entire church. Only the President can do that. Period.
