But they still got arrested for doing nothing wrong. We have a mass incarnation problem in America
Just because you disagree with the police doesn't mean you can refuse their orders and expect to not get arrested. When it does start to mean that, we have no law and order.
Do you think Rosa Parks expected to be arrested for refusing to give up her seat? Do you think that she did the right thing to challenge the law?

She absolutely expected to be arrested since it was a staged event. ?

Sure, but do you think she was right to do it even if it was a staged event?

Did she have a right to stage an event? I'm not sure why you'd even ask this question.

Why are you making this about Rosa Parks when the thread is about two men who abused a woman at Starbucks, a woman who is clearly the victim of misogyny, misogynist comments here, and a hateful national backlash because she's a woman.

Themis wrote:They were asked to leave since they had not ordered anything. They refused so at this point they are trespassing and cops were called. They said they were waiting for a friend who did happen to show up as they were being arrested. Not sure if they said they were planning on ordering when their friend arrived, but it was a stupid move by the manager.
Whether they were asked to leave appears to be a point of dispute. The manager says they were in the call to police; the men say she just asked them if they wanted to order anything.

The question was originally addressed to ajax. You can look at his post I quote as to why I asked him this question.
Now it's interesting you assert the manager is the clear victim. I would suggest it is not clear at all, but very unclear. The problem I see in the threads discussing the issue is people are arguing with each other based on a different set of possible facts. Maybe people should try to confirm what the facts are and then better discussion can happen as to who are the victims. I can see different scenarios in which I think she would be the victim and others where the two guys are.

This is far less clever than you seem to think it is.
