Meh. It was ok. I thought she had a bit of crocodile tears going on, but I'll admit she's credible in the sense she's a professional and knows how to speak to her base.

FOX News, numerous Republicans and even the President said her testimony was compelling and credible.

That was just politicking. I don't think they truly felt that way, but were just saying that to take away any sort of criticism in the court of public opinion.

The fact that she also passed a polygraph is just a sidebar.

Do you know who conducted the polygraph, the company that conducted it, and what their political affiliations are? Anyone know if Dr. Ford is open to the FBI conducting one?

“I witnessed Dr. Ford help McLean prepare for a potential polygraph exam. Dr. Ford explained in detail what to expect, how polygraphs worked and helped McLean become familiar and less nervous about the exam. Dr. Ford was able to help because of her background in psychology.”

This could mean many things, but psychologists know more than anyone that polygraphs are useless in proving someone is telling the truth. He could be making this up or he could be remembering her telling her friend not to be nervous. Telling someone to remain calm isn't synonymous with coaching them how to lie and get away with it, which is clearly where the Right Wing media is going with this. Some people tell the truth and fail the polygraph because they're too nervous.

As far as not having an ax to grind with Ford, this is undermined by the fact that he felt the need to say this: "I discovered that Dr. Ford was unfaithful," which has nothing to do with anything. But he knew it would go viral and embarrass her.

I mean, as we can just see from this thread, it's not like the Left isn't in love with totally decimating someone through character assassination.

Also, I'll remind anyone who's hyperventilating about Kavanaugh. Don't forget who's in the Repub's wing as a probable #2. As someone who is actually a fan of abortion (that's me, by the way), I have far, far, FAR more reservations about Barrett than I do Kavanaugh.

Yup. There are still men around who simply cannot face the idea of women having any authority or power.

Who is that?

LDS Church in Kavanaugh Hearings:

Eventually, he said, one church leader reached out to a former LDS bishop who had a connection to the office of Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah), who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee and is also a member of the church.

Ketterer said he spoke with Hatch’s staff last Friday and was then handed off to staff for Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa), who he said pressed him in a long phone interview about his knowledge of Swetnick’s background and her family relationships.

Sen. Orrin Hatch shared on Twitter an uncorroborated account from a Utah man questioning the legitimacy and sexual preferences of one of the women accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of misconduct.

What a clever sense of humor you have. The woman describing a sexual assault uses the well-known term for the area of the brain known to retain traumatic impressions, and you succeed in turning it into a really hilarious witticism!!!!

That'll teach her not to talk classy, like she's some kinda college professor ... oh, wait ...

No. A hippocampus is a school for training horses.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

But how it looks right now is 1) Kavanaugh will be confirmed. You've ensured it., 2) Kavanaugh is gonna have it in for you and your social justice warrior causes, 3) Republicans are going to do way better in the midterms than they were going to, 4) #MeToo is dead. You've not only raped, but murdered, that movement.

Ironically, you've managed to accomplish other things as well, like 5) make the exmo community look immature, 6) cast doubt on McKenna Denson, 7) cast suspicion on Protect LDS Children. Maybe I'll start dropping some of the screenshots. A lot of chatter on Facebook. It's not good. So many of the highly popular exmo figures look like total lunatics with the things they've said. And interestingly, they've been getting substantial pushback on their comments. Like hollywood celebs, they just can't keep their mouth shut, though. They do damage to their brand.

Going down even harder, perhaps, are the edgy/liberal faithful voices. Particularly the women. Lots of feminist Mormon ladies came out with very full throated statements in favor of Ford and against "the patriarchy." I've even seen arguments based on the Book of Mormon and corrupt judges being what brought down the Nephite civilization. All of these people are increasingly looking like total asshats.

And what do you think the response will be? Something like this, "Yep, that's why women shouldn't have the priesthood. They are just too emotional. "

Seems that since biblical times not much has changed under the sun. SSDD.

Concern troll is concerned.

Hey WD, how long before you scrub this post so that we can’t remind you of your track record as a prophet?

And people wonder why there are no funny right wing comedians.

You are right about little changing since Biblical time, though. In both the Bible and in your posts one encounters a talking ass.
