If a libertarian, why oh why, do you continuously defend and praise authoritarians?

It's his low-key way of admitting he's really:

Libertarian socialism (or socialist libertarianism) is a group of anti-authoritarian political philosophies inside the socialist movement that rejects the conception of socialism as centralized state ownership and control of the economy.

I'll let you go down the rabbit hole on that one, but based on EA's posting history he's clearly, CLEARLY, not your Libertarian you think of when he likes to drop that particular whopper.

This sounds more like an anarchist. Garden variety Che Guevara thugery. I am interested to learn how this is reconciled with his statement that seems to praise capitalism, or at the least, recognize the good it has accomplished. If we are all doing better, as a group, why want to change that?

EA, what is your opinion of Walter Williams? And Thomas Sowell? Since you are claiming to be a libertarian of sorts, and they are well known libertarians who have produced quite a lot of literature dealing with this particular issue of the poor not being so poor as the left makes them out to be.

Libertarian socialism is what Chomsky types are and very far from what I think. The far end of it is a type of anarchism called anarcho-syndicalism. The far end of right leaning libertarianism is a type of anarchism called anarcho-capitalism.

I'm an ordinary right libertarianish thinker. Not getting that is Doc's trolling or his inability to wrap his head around what libertarians think. I'm a fairly typical Reason mag type in the vein of Suderman, Balko, Sanchez, etc.

Yah, ok buddy. This is what socialists, whoops, "libertarians" do when they're spotted in the wild. They're much too nuanced to be understood by the plebes.

Yeah, the Chomskyites sure are known for being shy about telling you their political views.

Not just a socialist, but a libertarian socialist - a term used primarily used in the context of European politics representing a very obscure ideological perspective to the average person. What evidence does Doc have that this person is all about anarcho-syndicalist collectives? None, obviously. He just uses the term like he might "cultural Marxism." It's a pseudointellectual smear word devoid of content and divorced from the academic context in which it might make sense.

Read the last 50-100 tweets of each. They sound so similar to me that I fear looking like a plagiarist. I'm not a hard person to classify if your not a dilettante in over your head.
