Apparently there is a death penalty case in front of the Supreme Court right now, and during oral arguments, Kavanaugh asked a question that seemed to argue against what the more conservative position:
- Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday signaled a possible break with his fellow conservative Supreme Court justices during a dramatic day of oral argument in a high-stakes death penalty case.
-"So you're saying that even if the method imposes gruesome, brutal pain, you can still go forward?" Kavanaugh asked. "Is there any limit on that?"
I'm not sure why there isn't an opioid related method to executing someone. They should be able to develop something that painlessly ends someone's life.
When we put our dogs down a few years back they injected something that knocked them out, or killed them, immediately. As soon as the concoction was injected they just dropped. I can't imagine they suffered at all.
I'm assuming we use something similar, but I don't care enough to google the particulars.

Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.
One does have to wonder why a safe effective method cannot be found.

The guillotine is fast, relatively painless, unambiguous.
Wasn't there a scientist during the French revolution who told his colleague he would keep blinking as long as he could after his head was severed. He blinked for at least 15 seconds after being decapitated.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
