Oh my god, this is too funny. Someone set the automod for "H no space W" to Harvey Weinstein. Lol. Good stuff.

Obviously I mean Bush I and not Mr. Weinstein.

Yup. That's what happened. That thing is a menace. Who is doing this stuff? Can we see a list of preset autocorrects, please?

If you turn off the filter in your profile so the swear words are spelled out it also prevents the other weird autocorrect actions the board takes. It does keep the autocorrect in peoples replies so you can see why they were making references to Harvey Weinstein despite the original post referencing H-W.

Regarding President Bush, I was of a young and naïve age during his presidency. But I was consistently impressed with him as a man afterward, his choices in when it was worth stepping back into the public gaze and when not to, and above all his stoic character as Cam described it. Maybe flying a plane with a burning engine through enemy antiaircraft fire in order to complete a bombing mission before jumping out of the destroyed plane to be the only surviving member of his crew, be improbably rescued by a submarine, and spending at least a month on said sub in a combat zone rescuing downed pilots because they couldn't just head back to port just because of him will do that for a soul. He is one of the last of an age, and with his death we have essentially put the greatest generation behind us, politically speaking. While I think there is good that comes with seeing misguided views and attitudes replaced with better understanding and inclusiveness we also lose something valuable with that passing as well. All that is old is not bad, and all that is new is not better. President Bush exemplified much of the good of his generation.

George H.W. Bush was the first person that I voted for President.

I have asked for a list of all Republican Politicians and have it pointed out on that list which ones are the RINOs and which ones are the true Republicans. But I never got that list.

Yep, I voted for him the first time. Then almost went Perot but backed Clinton. Blech. How many lesser evils can you stomach?

The list is constantly shrinking because they're getting voted out of office. They've fallen into disfavor with both the left and the right.
