Well, I'm sure he did. There are some cultures (like that of France) where what a person does to make themselves look a fool embarrasses only himself or herself. One might be amused or angry at the spectacle, but not embarrassed.
There are others, and I think the US may be one of them, where being seen on TV with your head of state as he makes a complete idiot of himself makes all those present feel embarrassed. Whatever FOX meant, I suspect that Pelosi was embarrassed in that sense. From the frozen expression on his face, I suspect that Pence was too.

Agree with your sentiment. The one loser, to me, was Schumer...how is it that Pelosi is the one being challenged for her leadership position but Chuck remains unchallenged? Chuck is a useless fixture for the DNC (though his veracity for maintaining a clear field of view between himself and a tv camera is admirable).
