Our only hope is that this superbowl is the last nail in Goodell's coffin.
Do you actually watch or care about the half time show? Whether you like Goodell or not the NFL is still a great product, and the greatest fan sport in the world, and with fantasy, the Raiders moving to Vegas, and possible expansion overseas and Mexico...it will only grow.
One reason prices are down is everyone hates the Pat's and no one cares about the Ram's, even in LA. What is amazing is because LA has so many transplants our fan base is not even close to most NFL cities. I have been to games, especially Dallas back when we were at Anaheim where it was 70/30 Dallas fans.
On LA sports talk radio, Lebron's injury and Dodger free agency is ahead of Ram's going to the super bowl most the time here, I hate it, I have to flip stations to get Ram's talk.
What blows my mind is that in LA, on playoff Sunday, more people watched the Pat/Chiefs game than the Rams/Saints...again IN LA!
But in regards to football, it should be a great game, and least I hope so.
If Kevin reads this, have you been to the Falcons stadium...I heard it is the best stadium in the NFL? Also 2 dollar hot dogs and 5 dollar beers. I went to th elast Ram game and it cost $49 for 2 dogs, a glass of cheap red wine, and a beer.
